So I am prefacing this by saying that I am NOT an athlete or anything close to it, but I do love watching gymnastics! Summer of 2016 before the olympics I think I watched 3 days worth of old Olympic competitions. I honestly know very little about gymnastics but I do know that this book was incredible!! I will say that I was not a huge fan of Hannah Orenstein’s other two books. I liked them but I didn’t ~love them~ but this one... blew me away! I really loved everything about this book. It covered really relevant topics like sexual assault, depression, and more tough subjects within gymnastics. It was really eye opening but also a super fun book! I loved the descriptions of the routines and it really felt like I could picture what was happening! Ryan and Avery are both great characters. I really loved watching Avery grow and find her new dream and passions. She was so incredible for Hallie (who is also an amazing young woman) and they worked so well together! This book also had an epilogue that really rounded out the book. ⠀
⠀
This book really makes you excited for the olympics, even if they aren’t happening this year. If you are a fan of sports & romcoms, definitely check this out! It will hold you over until 2021 rolls around!⠀

Ahhhh okay I don’t really know where to begin! I really did enjoy this book! I am a huge fan of fake dating books and I thought this did a really great job with it! Sara and Luis were honestly really great together. I think their personalities worked really well and they kind of just understood each other. I almost gave it 4 stars, but the ending!!! I really didn’t like the way it ended. It was a very happy ending and I knooow not every book needs an epilogue but I felt like this book would’ve really benefited from having one. Like I would’ve loved to see how things played out for Sara and Miami and Luis back at work!! When I finished this book I kind of just stared at it for a few minutes thinking ....what happens next?? But, I need to put my love for knowing what happens in the future aside. I had seen a few mixed reviews with this one so I was a little nervous to read it, but it was pretty good. ⠀
⠀
Overall, this is a super cute beach read. I am in love with this cover! It is so bright and fun. I also loved Luis. He was probably my favorite character! I love a romcom with a firefighter

WOW. FIVE STARS. Okay, so I finished this book in about 5 hours?? It’s been MONTHS since I’ve been able to finish a book in one sitting. I’ve always said how big of a Jasmine Guillory fan I am - The Wedding Date is in my top 5 favorite romcoms ever. This one has definitely just made its way into that top 5!! Can I just say how GREAT this book was!!! I could rave about this book for hours I think. Here are a few of the things I loved: Olivia!!! She is such a great character and I have loved her since that first book. She is such a strong willed character and has worked so hard for her new firm. Max is the DREAM BOOK BOYFRIEND!!! Like everything about him was just amazing. He is super hot, cares about his country and wants to make a difference, and even took the advice that Olivia gave him and grew himself. Together, they were so great together. They complimented each other so well! I honestly don’t think I have anything bad to say about this book!!⠀
⠀
Jasmine Guillory has done it again. I am a huge fan of her writing and the way she tells her stories. I would honestly read anything she write, including her grocery lists. ⠀
⠀
This is probably a book I will purchase! I want to own this whole series honestly, so when I am done with this book buying ban..... I may or may not be spending all my money to purchase all of these!! ⠀

How do you review a book that leaves you speechless?? This book blew my expectations out of the water. Adunni’s story was an amazing story about the strength and determination of a young girl in Nigeria who wants to achieve her goal of getting an education. This book had me drawn in from the beginning. I was so interested and hooked on Adunni and to see what was going to happen. I highly, highly suggest this book to anyone who needs a powerful read. I had seen this book highly recommended across Instagram and it definitely lived up to the recommendations! This will go in my list of best reads of 2020. Abi Daré is a wonderful author and this book was incredible! I had such a sense of adoration and love for Adunni. She had gone through so much in her young adult lifetime and she worked so hard to get her education!!⠀
Fans of Fake Dating tropes, its our time to shine! This book takes a fun spin on the classic fake dating troupe we know and love. I couldn't put this book down.
Lets start with the characters. I loved both Drew and Chloe. They were both strong willed, driven characters. They both worked for what they wanted. Chloe deals with a hard battle between the love she has for her parents and the love she has for herself. She wants to make them proud but also she struggles with their demeaning comments, even if they were made out of love. Her parents wanted the best for her and had good intentions but their actions were not the great. Drew is what an ideal book boyfriend sounds like. He cares a lot about Chloe and wants the best for her. Drew is an artist and the descriptions of his art sounds beautiful!
Chloe and Drew had a lot of growing to do together and had to work for their relationship and I like seeing a couple that grows together.
One criticism of the book is that I felt like the ending was a little rushed. It felt like the issues were resolved pretty quickly but I did like how they were resolved! It tied everything up pretty well.
I liked this book because it gave insight into a culture that I am not familiar with. I liked reading about their traditions and also the differences between Chloe and Drew's upbringings.
I want to thank Simon & Schuster and Netgalley for this ebook in exchange for an honest review!

Kevin Kwan, I adore ALL of your books!! I am a huge fan of his writing style and I have loved every one of them so far! I felt like this book was so well written. I felt like I was actually in Capri (and I wish I actually was!) I was instantly a huge fan of George and Lucie. They were both great characters and had grown a lot over the course of the book. Overall I felt like this was a really great book! I honestly don’t have much to say because I liked it so much!! It did make me wonder what it would be like to be filthy rich... there are definitely pros and cons to that one! This book will probably be in my top 10 of 2020, it was so good!!⠀
