A good mystery with great characters and Bujold’s usual fantastic writing and pacing. It’s just pure fun with old friends at this point.

I really enjoyed this one. Gaiman is a fantastic writer. The pace is perfect, not an easy thing to do with such a long book. The characters are interesting and well drawn out, the plot is fantastical and great. Highly recommended.
Not bad but very unequal, both the stories and the art.
I really liked superman’s appearance. It’s brief and sums up very well the limits of his power. What Batman can do and what he can’t. Other than that, it’s meh.
It’s funny, clever and provocative, as you would expect from Saga. It does start to feel like more of the same though… we’ll see how the future books hold up.
Quite a deep, if gloomy, novel. It’s a excellent example of using science-fiction to ask profound questions about humanity. The way Miller uses religion here is particularly interesting. Not perfect, but I very much liked it.
Always excellent and visceral. Highly recommended.
It’s really a 3.5 for me but Goodreads doesn’t allow that, so 3 it is. I like the setup, the characters and the story globally. This novel has great dialogues, very funny moments and is original.
The problem comes from the writing. Michael Chabon is a very good writer, but he knows it a bit too much. He abuses of his own quality as a writer and goes on and on. Some passages are pace-killers for the book, in my opinion. It’s too bad, because otherwise I really liked it and it would have gotten 4 stars easily.

3.5 rounded up to 4. A bit unequal but a seminal book in its genre. It was certainly copied a lot. It mostly works, even though there are some Deus Ex machina moments, but it is well paced and entertaining. The teenagers stories vary in term of originality and relevancy, but Tatami knows when to stop them, I was never bored. It's a hefty book but it reads fast. Overall, I enjoyed it, but I didn't love it.
