I thought the story being told reversed was an interesting concept but fell through in some parts. The last 55 pages was probably the best part of this book because there were many slow parts. It’s a lot of secrets in this sleepy mountain town and I liked it until it was being used i.e. beating a dead horse. The writing was great but wasn’t the hugest fan of the story.

I giggled and screamed while I read this book. This has to be my favorite Ali Hazelwood book because I am a STEM girly so I appreciated the physics terminology and seeing academia from Elsie’s POV. I am obsessed and terrified of Jack. He gets it. Overall, I want to reread this book and I loved the little tidbits from Hazelwood’s past book.

Devoured every moment of this book and I listened along with the audiobook which enhanced the experience. Highly recommend and enjoyed it!!

I loved the Flatshare so I wanted to read her backlist but I didn’t enjoy it. The narration was mundane and boring and I wasn’t a fan of the plot. It wasn’t for me but for someone else it might be. 

I read the love wager before this so I knew Colin & Olivia were gonna be together but it was so cute and sweet to see their love story written. The witty banter, the angst and Colin and Olivia  finding each other made my heart melt. 

There’s something about Gabrielle Zevin and her books. The fact that they will stay with you for the rest of your life is an understatement. I don’t know what she puts in her writing but it sucks you into the story that a lot of writers lack.
