One of the best audiobooks I’ve listened to in 2024! Humorous with dark themes on making in America.

Hands down this is the best romance novel I’ve read in 2024! Even though Emma faced mental health issues, I thought her story mattered. It’s hard to write about this topic and I appreciate Abby Jimenez for that. Justin is ultimate book boyfriend and he was utter perfection. I’m a true sucker for found family and I’m glad Emma was able to have that.

Wtf did I just listen to? The book was slow in the second half and picked up in the last 10%.  June was insufferable but RF Kuang did a great job writing this story. I would reread this in the future.

Hands down one of my favorite romances I’ve read this year!!! Sloane and Xavier are my favorite couple now and damn Xavier, aren’t you so fine? The story was great and how they worked out their issues out was realistic and relatable. It won’t always be sunshine and rainbows. The fact it’s the longest so far in the series ensured that the story was able to play out so smoothly and hash everything out.
informative reflective medium-paced

Thoughtful and evoking in a way that white feminism (WF) is destructive and harmful towards BIPOC women. She went in-depth on how WF served its savior complex and complicit to the patriarchy. This book was informative and should be read especially with the Palestinian genocide happening.

This has to be my favorite Emily Henry book now. Daphne and Miles have a special place in my heart and their story is something I’ll look back fondly. My heart hurt at some moments and life is tough as portrayed in this book. I hated Peter and Petra. Also her dad as well. I will reread this book because it was great, I have no words to describe the homey, cozy feeling this book brings.

Loved this story and the audiobook was amazing!!

Ruby Hamad does a great job with history, events and discussion on how white feminism upholds white supremacy. It’s hard to write a book about this topic since it’s so engrained within society, so I applaud her. This book was terrific and the audiobook enhanced the experience. Will reread again and annotate it. It’s important to read this book especially what’s happening in Palestine.
