I DNFd at 110pg. The plot isn't really there and its taking too long to go anywhere. She uses the term beau which is just a 🤢 for me. 2 days and they are shortening each others names to Rave and Zar. The whole thing to me is a red flag for a thriller with spice it took me 5 days to get to 33%

Really couldn't get into the story. 

Really could not get into the story. I may go back at some point but for now, it's a no for me. 

Got to part 2 and just did not feel the urge to continue. This was our local book club choice. I'm definitely not a historical fiction reader. 

First couple were fun reads but then they became very samey with nothing actually going on. I'd finish a book and then be like, well what actually happened 

I had hopes for this. It started out strong but then after her incident, Charlotte became so so winey it became annoying. Every page became a struggle because it felt I was reading the same thing over and over just reworded. So, me being me I read the rest of the Hive notifications and the epilogue. DNFd at page 244

Lost interest half way through

My mistake, didn't realise it was a children's book when started listening to it. Thought I'd stick it out but totally lost interest
