This fifth book in the series is about 3 times longer than the previous installments and the plot takes a stratifying number of twists and turns. It develops the relationships between Murderbot and it's primary group of humans, brings ART back into the story (how I had missed that snarky ship!) and also introduces a few new characters I would love to see more of in sequels someday. I highly recommend this series.

This was Rainbow Rowell's first book and I did enjoy it though it seemed less well developed that her later ones. It's love story, essentially, with other plot strands about growing up and finding oneself. The main character, Lincoln, came off a bit flat in the first dozen or so pages but I became more and more fond of him as the story went on. Also, a lovely portrait of a friendship through emails of the other main characters, Jennifer and Beth.

Lots of aspects I enjoyed, some I found unsatisfying.
