An old favorite. I started collecting jokers from card decks after reading it!

One of my all-time favorite sci-fi books, but don't bother with the other two in the series. Read this as a stand alone and enjoy the hell out of it. I've read it at least four times.

This book kick-started my own pre-teen awareness of being gay, and for that if for no other reason I will love it forever. Despite the fact that last time I tried to read it as an adult I couldn't get through it, haha.
