I do not think I have the words to do this book justice - everything from the plot to the writing to the characters is just spectacular. Definitely a book I would recommend to everyone

I read this book a few years ago and felt i didnt give it a fair chance so I picked it up again recently and I still hated it. Apart from the horrendous subject matter, something that really irked me was how disjointed the writing was; something I really did not expect from Nabokov. Perhaps if the writing had been better the book would have been easier to digest but im sticking to my original rating of 2 stars

A wonderfully written book, I wish I could read it for the first time a hundred more times
