After reading some Rupi at the beginning of the year I'm connecting to a love of poetry I didn't realize I had??? There were a few lines in this collection that really stuck with me, especially "The world that we think we see is only our best guess." I think with poetry I'm likely going to forget the content of what I read since there wasn't an overarching story to this collection but I need to detach myself from the idea that not remembering is a bad thing. The poems were packed with emotion as I was reading them and that's really why I'm reading it, right?
