I downloaded this on my kindle so I could have a book I could bring in my small bag to the boygenius concert and ended up reading this all in one day. It was… fine? I think it might end up being one of those books that felt meh in the moment but will be simmering in my brain for a while. It was tense and kept me engaged, but ultimately was also predictable and maybe boring? It was good for reading while standing in a crowd of a bunch of other white girls in doc martens waiting for the boygenius show to start but not sure I’d recommend anyone go out of their way to read it
