thrilling, fast-paced, twisty-turny, casually queer, we love to see it.

Fantastic, fantastic, fantastic. Exhaustively researched and so much more than it is on its face, not just a murder investigation but an exploration of sexism in academia and the way we hold murdered women up as cautionary tales. Jane isn't reduced to the victim, but presented very fully as herself, the way that she was instead of the way she was seen.

devastating and intense and so good and devastating.

A lot of great programming ideas, but some got repetitive - a couple different variations on retro theme nights, a couple different variations on recipes, et cetera. I can also see where many of these programs wouldn't be feasible for a smaller or rural library. Overall, though, a great reference books for finding new programming.
