I’m not certain if my love for Sally Rooney makes me basic or pretentious, but I suspect it’s one of the two. I love imperfect characters and Rooney has the unique ability to root for someone you might otherwise dislike.

SO FUN! The best romance novel published this year. So heartwarming, timely and original.

Very enjoyable/entertaining but overall not a great book! The storytelling was a bit all over the place.

So utterly precious that despite being slightly predictable it would be a shame to take any stars away from this heartwarming story of reinvention.
