The name of the book has rarely bein so besides the point. I get that they want to continue the series but the whole map book is mentioned maybe 3 times. Could have been called Emily Wilde and the search for the back door into Wendells land. Storywise it goes very much like the first book. There is a quest, people join the quest while they aren't wanted, they search, befriend, find, go to the otherland, adventure, voila. Still a fun read. 

Bought this book at the airport for a trip to Japan, it seemed the right choice. Lovely little stories, lots of sad endings. I liked the first few stories more, the last 2 didn't really get me. 

Loved this more than I expected. The cozy genre is nice but a tad predictable, this gave a few twists I didn't see coming. I don't necessarily care for the love arc but alas, it seems imbedded in a lot of books. 

Good story, nice twist, realistic approach for the grey areas

bit less that the first one, I feared it would be heavily focused on Viv her previous life but it has a good cozy mix. Personally I am getting a bit tired of books who focus on readers being people who love books, thus writers make a book about a book lover. But that is me personal, if you don't mind this read is great. 

Lovely read, the part were it went wrong could have been left out. Also, just having to pay off some sort of mobster should also give some protection? right? Oh well. I love how it builds up and adds characters. 

 Can someone make this into a cozy game? Pretty please? Because it is just perfect. The story feels very unfinished but I think I could read 2000 pages of this and still not be satisfied. 

I started liking it, almost making me jealous with the idea, but it didn't grasp me. I only finished it because I was over half.
