Time wise this story seems to change velocity at each page, but the stories are fun. Different from other fairytales, but maybe a bit closer to how children feel and act.

The book has a heavy focus on an American side of innovation, it would have been nice to have a bit more of Europe's side in these similar endavours. Connections between inventions are made (radio leads to a love for jazz, clean water leads to skimpy bathing suits, mass production of books leads to the lens) but some links are a bit farfetched
