This book was charming. Though it is geared towards a younger reader (the main character is 13) it has plenty of elements adults can appreciate. I was fascinated by the plant based technology. CPU seeds that grow into computers! Lightbulb plants that you coax out of a pot and into your wall! There's also a nice nod to [b:The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy|11|The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, #1)|Douglas Adams|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1327656754s/11.jpg|3078186] if you're paying attention. And Zahrah's a great protagonist. She's caring and thoughtful and evolves into a strong and resourceful person. Recommended to people that like unique sci/fi.
