This is a comical and fun book. If you've read Pride and Prejudice or any book similar and want a good laugh, pick this up.

"Script
for when
he
tells you
to
smile:

"drop dead"

-confidence is healthy." (111)

"Now that I'm gone, what shall be said
Of Anne Boleyn without a head?
Forget her fast, move on instead--
The falcon died, the phoenix weds." (Hemphill, 132)

One of the best books I've read this year.

"Who could I call to ask how to cook a potato? Who would listen to me talk about my work for more than five minutes? Who would tell me everything? Who would forgive me for everything? How could I possibly navigate this world without the person who brought me into it?"

"Good morning.
I know it seems like everyone left
without you for the party,
and those stepsisters suck,
but us woodland creatures are on your side."

-----

"Things may never be like this again.
That could be good or bad news
to you, but it's true nonetheless.
Gmorning."
