too much dworkin

Unfortunately this book is so boring despite how interesting it could have been. The writing is completely flat and unemotional which made it such a slog.

i think sloane and henry should have ended up together

what the fuck was the accent the narrator doing because it was not a maine one 

as a jewish lesbian with anxiety and crohn's disease this book means everything to me. the crohn's disease aspect alone would have made me cry as literally no one writes fiction about it (at the very least in a compassionate light) but the additional bonus of everything else makes me feel like this book was written just with me in mind. 

extremely fucking weird to repeatedly insinuate that a woman being overweight, not putting much effort into her looks, not wanting to fuck her husband "enough", and swearing a lot are signs that something is wrong with her or that she is a killer

everyone in the world should read this book and join this movement

the author's usual work is writing click bait science articles for online magazines and that is plainly obvious from her writing style.
