I absolutely loved this prequel! I cannot wait to start the first book in the series.

Taylor Swift, enough said.

It pales in comparison to the other works in the series but I definitely still enjoyed it.

I feel misled by the blurb, it promised a plot that I did not get. The twists were confusing and I felt like there was no real depth to the story, it just all felt very surface-level.

I LOVED this book. It was so well crafted and executed, and twist a the end? Genius. I need the second book in by hands immediately.

What in the world did I just read?? I thought Garrett was supposed to be swoon-worthy, he’s incredibly misogynistic. He is a walking red flag and even in the book world I think he’s not the kind of guy anyone should date. The whole book just gave me ick vibes and I should have dnfed it.

This book was phenomenal. I’m not always a fan of urban fantasies but this one definitely exceeded my expectations. I am so glad that I chose to savor this story instead of reading it in one sitting.

I know they were for the plot so I didn’t take away stars for that specifically but Kiva’s siblings were so incredibly annoying. Every time they appeared I rolled my eyes. What I did take away stars for was the lack of conflict, there seemed to be no sense of urgency. Kiva was making stupid choices which was frustrating.

This book was absolutely delicious. I loved Kiva and Jaren’s relationship. I had such a fun time reading this series.

OH MY GOD THIS WAS AMAZING. I knew from the cover that it would blow me away but even so I did not expect such fabulousness. The romance was so fun and I need more immediately.
