I wish that I was one of the people who found this book to be a deep exploration of the exploitation of women in society. Unfortunately, I found this to be tediously written, and just a drag in general. I don’t recommend this book.
Like the first book, I did not enjoy this one. I only kept reading because I own this one.
The mystery let me down a little bit but I definitely liked this more than the original Austen novel.
I was very disappointed by this book. The cover is stunning which was what appealed to me, that and the circus aspect (of which there wasn’t any). The flashbacks were annoying and stopped the story. I also didn’t like how the first third of the book was spent in exposition without anything really happening. I was super excited for this book and feel really let down.
I love learning more about unsolved cases and these ones were written in such a digestible way.
I loved how the mc was written and how realistic her interactions with others were. I could not put this book down. Highly recommend!
Fun little book about conspiracies. I especially enjoyed the cover up and government involvement ones.
