A beautiful and heartbreaking narrative that I will never forget.

This was more boring than a math textbook. Honestly, whoever said that this was as good as Jane Austen needs to get their eyes checked.

I spent most of the novel really confused. I liked the mc but felt that a lot of the other characters lacked development. And I saw the “plot twist” at the end coming for very early on.

The best historical fiction book I have read in a while. I love this book so much and I can’t wait to read the second book.

A perfect teenage love story that mimics literary greats. I can’t wait to see what this author has in store next.

I finally see what the hype about this book is. It’s absolutely addictive and I’m going to borrow the rest of the series when I go to the library tomorrow.

I would have liked this to be a whole book so I could see the relationship fleshed out more but otherwise it was really good!

I would have been able to enjoy the romance more of Allie hadn’t been cheating on her fiancé.
