A quick and well written read! I really enjoyed all the characters and the progression of the plot.

Can I give this book more stars? No? That’s not a thing? Sadness.

Renee keeps coming out with banger after banger and I have no idea how someone can be this incredibly talented. Honestly, this book blew me away. I know I say that every time but it’s true!

Now off to go cry because my heart is broken.

I think I’ve found a new favorite author! My obsession with historical fiction romances has been reignited and I am so excited to read the rest of the series.

I don’t have much to say other than this book felt repetitive. I think I would have enjoyed it more had it been shorter.

I loved the plot and characters, though the book was slow to start, but I really would have liked more worldbuilding. I felt confused when the characters were talking about politics or religion because none of that had been fully explained. But otherwise it was a really good book!

I don't normally read middle grade novels but this one might have just changed my mind! The plot was fast-paced, the characters were motivating, and the vibes were immaculate. I can't wait to read book two!

The prose of the novel was absolutely beautiful. It's rare when I enjoy the way a book is written more than the content of the book but I cannot get over how lyrical the writing was.

It was a fantastic book but the only thing I had issues with was how much there was to keep track of. Otherwise I really enjoyed reading!
