I waited for this book for over a year and I am so happy that it lived up to my expectations! The ending was so sweet and I love how well the historical-accuracy-bending was handled. I adored the first book and I’m so glad that I got a sequel.

I mean I skipped a good portion of the book but what I read was pretty good! The insta-love romance was well.

IM OBSESSED! I had the privilege of both beta and arc reading for this masterpiece and both times I was absolutely blown away. Marie has an incredible ability to write PTSD/Trauma beautifully and Kasha’s story moved me to my core.

I was boring, then good, then boring, then good, and ended boring.

I reallyyyyyy wanted to like this one but I didn’t. There wasn’t much of a cohesive plot or sense of urgency. The romance didn’t make sense in the slightest and none of the characters experienced any development.

An interesting and fast paced novella!

This most definitely was worth the hype. I couldn’t put it down! Now time to go buy the rest of the series!

I’m liking Warner a lot more.

I didn't feel connected to the characters or the plot. Unfortunately, this romance fell short of my expectations.

Aaron Warner is the love of my life and he is the standard.
