This book should not be YA. Just because the characters are teens does not mean that it should be targeted at teens. It also was not marketed correctly. I was not aware of the actual plot when I picked up the book because it was not mentioned in the summary. If I had known that this book was about a group of women forced to carry children against their will then I definitely would not have picked this book up to begin with. Not to mention that the “romance” felt like it came out of nowhere and all the characters felt like caricatures.

This was a very chill read. It wasn’t super exciting or fast paced but it was still interesting. The winner’s curse concept felt very out of place though.

Well this book certainly lived up to the hype. I was so sucked in I couldn’t put it down. Every single character was fascinating and the banter was top tier.

The first 2/3 of this book was incredibly boring. Then bam! The love interest is suddenly in love with the mc. I enjoyed the concept of reincarnation but the love interest reminded me too much of Edward from Twilight for me to like him.

Ahhhh I just adored this book! The whole concept and execution was perfection and I was hooked after the first chapter! The mc and August had incredible character arcs and I loved watching them grow together. I also loved the whole fantasy murder mystery, I thought it would drag a bit but it was actually very fast paced! I hope there is a sequel because I want to spend so much more time in the world with these incredibly well written characters.

I have to admit that I would not have picked this book up on my own and even when I had to read it for a bookclub I wasn’t very enthused about it. However! I was pleasantly surprised at the exciting narrative and I loved both main characters.

I thought this book would be good but no. It failed to hold my attention and it felt rushed but dragged out at the same time.

Wow, this book was absolutely incredible. I loved every twist and turn and each of the main characters were extremely motivating.

I really wanted to like this book but I guess it just wasn’t for me. I was confused by the constant changing of povs, especially when it changed to side characters. I also didn’t understand why the romance happened so suddenly, one minute they hated each other and the other they were confessing their mutual love. The exposition was incredibly long which left me not interested in the story when the action finally started.

Such a captivating Rumplestilkskin (idk how to spell it) retelling! I loved the romance and the premise of the story. I’m not sure about many of the supporting characters but they were okay, not many of them had depth. But it was such a fun story to read!
