A very clean ending, a bit too clean I suppose but this wasn’t a very edgy series to begin with. It was a nice, heartwarming ending for all the characters I’d grown to love. Found family troupes always get me.

I liked the actually Silk Tapestry story in this book, but the others seems to be an after-thought. The art was rather pretty though.

Really feeling the body horror here. It’s not my favorite story of Ito’s ever, but I like the ridiculousness of it all.

I read a post once that the movie version is the story told through Howl’s version of events and the book is through Sophie’s version of events and honestly that just fit so perfectly that it endeared both to me even more.

Probably one of my favorite of the “novels” Ito has created. I’m obsessed with the visuals and the story just kept building and building and consuming my whole attention. One of Ito’s best for sure.

I loved this trilogy so much I consumed it in about two days. I just think it’s so interesting and well developed even for novellas. It’s a story I keep recommending to people and will most likely read again.

Probably one of my favorite assigned readings. There’s just something about fighting monsters and going out while fighting a dragon that does it for me.

The only reason this story isn’t a 5 for me is because it’s one that I think is at its best when read for the first time. But that first time is a killer.

A very short and cute read. I liked the slow build and visuals in it, and the ending was very sweet.

A quick read, but informative. I could see it being useful for some quick learning about toxic traits to watch out for, or identifying ones already present in relationship. Accessible language.
