I liked the arguments here. It was accessible considering that most were blog posts, so it's a nice social discussion without having to slog through difficult language.

The Circus is Here: 4/5, probably not my favorite title story of Ito's but I thought it was a cool story line that could go on in an infinite loop.
Street of Gravestones: 5/5, loved this! I thought it was really suspenseful and creative.
The Window Next Door: 5/5, probably one of the spookier ones for me because I watched a dramatic reading of it and the voice they used for the woman will never leave my brain.
The Bizarre Hikizuri Siblings: Narumi's Boyfriend: 3/5, slightly interesting mostly for the reveal at the end, but I'm not a big fan of these siblings.
The Bizarre Hikizuri Siblings: The Seance: 2/5, I really didn't likely of the stories with the Hikizuri siblings. This story wasn't really that interesting and kind of predictable.

I think that while this book said a lot of things I think are important and wonderful, it mostly just repeated itself. I think it would be a good first read for someone looking to learn more about socialist feminism specifically, or to have a base for learning about international social feminist movements.

I didn't find this to be nearly as scary or suspenseful as I was anticipating. I'm reaching the opinion that a lot of classics are really just a better experience for me on screen over reading the original text.

I thought this was utterly and totally charming! I've never actually read the originals, and I don't really have any intention to, but this novel tempted me for a few moments. The art was very beautiful, and I cried when I was finished.

I really enjoyed this book. I feel like most historical movements and events should be retold in visual formats like this, and really applaud Lewis for telling his story and the story of so many others in this way because I think it just made the impact all the stronger.

This book was magical. It was slow going for the first few chapters but really took hold of me and I couldn't stop reading it. I think I read it in two sittings maybe. The writing was lyrical and just sucked me right in. I loved being able to see the story from Circe's perspective, and thought it added a whole new layer to the Odessey, and honestly made me like the story more.

I loved this book so much more than I thought I would. The superpowers were cool without being annoying, and had limitations which was cool for the world building. I also loved all the characters and was deeply invested in their lives in that tiny minivan.

This is the only Dickens I have ever and probably will ever read, and so I can honestly say that I think it's his best work. This is something I like to reread around the Christmas holidays, and is a good reminder to me that we should really bring back telling ghost stories around Christmas time.

This short was the spookiest the first time I read it. I like the idea of the scarecrows taking on the emotions and grudges of the dead, and felt like it had a good story and art overall.
