An ethereal series of vignettes that left me simultaneously satisfied and craving something. It really helped remind me how much I enjoy short fiction.

The poems and monologues in this work were touching, almost familiar narratives. However, the form of storytelling was not necessarily my favorite, so some of the impact felt lost on me.

A well developed story with an engaging world and magic system. It is very original and has several compelling characters. An enjoyable read.

An entertaining overlook of the oddities and quirky places/legends of my home region. I would have liked to see reference to the ghosts on the University of Montevallo campus, but I think Crider was very thorough and included a lot of well known icons and some that I wasn't familiar with!
