I think parts of this story were handled insensitively, but I like the story direction and dimension of the characters.
The plot is getting wild but honestly I’m super into it
I just wasn’t as into this as I thought I would be. For me it was a bit too character driven, and I really wanted more action than I felt like I was getting. Despite all the character focus in this novella, the ending seemed rather random to me. I didn’t quite believe it was in Murderbot’s character.
These felt super fragmented and not wholly related. I think there were some good parts and points brought up, but not altogether a good collection of interviews when put together.
While interesting and with lovely artwork, I felt like it was a bit surface level. I think I wanted to see more information on the monsters.
The plot line around Sessoumarou and Rin is such a good one and it’s really the only thing keeping me going this late in the series.
The story was very compelling. There was action on every page, character driven narrative, interesting conflict, however, I think the art is a bit rough. It is an aesthetic in and of itself, but not really one that I felt like translated well into comic book style.
I enjoyed this book a lot and think it had some interesting ideas and suggestions for improving your life. I think it can be a bit repetitive and a bit technical and difficult to get into in the beginning, but I think it’s altogether well-thought out and compelling.
It wasn’t scary for me. I found this one to be really predictable and not as interesting as the authors other works. Still beautifully illustrated, as always.
