I enjoy T. Kingfisher's stories quite a lot! Each story is very unique, but one minor (for me)  criticism i have is all her main characters are very much the same.  However, I like them, so it doesn't really bother me.
This was a fun story, i wouldn't necessarily say it's scary,  but it was a fun imagining of a ghost story.

Beautifully written.  Tragic, dark,  funny, and deep. The twist in this one caught me completely by surprise. I enjoyed my time with Cyrus.

It was okay! I didn't really like the main character. He was kinda arrogant and annoying.  The humor missed for me.  The mystery was fun and interesting but I did actually guess the twist long before it was revealed. It seemed very inspired by And Then There Were None.
It kinda read more young adult through the whole thing,  and it very well could be, if you just cut out some of the unnecessary sexual stuff.
Very middle of the road!

A great sequel!  Reads like a super spooky movie. It's fast paced and a fun book!

Fun and interesting! I wish there was more about the Sasquatches, but it was a sad/exciting story regardless. It was definitely an interesting book.

I really liked it!  2 monsters. Was very tense, action packed, pissed me off a bunch of times. I just wish there was more of an ending, it kinda just ended. But I really did enjoy the journey.

It was cute! I felt like it was a little too long, though.  The characters were great, the ending was sweet and I'm a big fan of Kracken the cat!

It was oookay! There was a lot I liked. The cosmic horror aspect was fantastic. Very spooky, very claustrophobic.
I didn't really like any of the characters.  They all kind of blended together,  no one really stood out, and i didn't really care about their individual situations.
The ending was a bit lackluster after all that.  Kinda just dumped a lot of info anti-climatically.
The writing wasn't great. A lot of short chapters.  You know when in shows they're like "something is going to happen. "And then it goes to commercial and it has to recap the last bit like,  something is going to happen,  and it's this! Now something else is going to happen.... and it goes to commercial again?  It kinda read like that.  It was a bit irritating.

I'm also not huge on animal body horror, and there was a lot of that.

Not the worst horror, but I'm not going to be running out to tell everyone they gotta read it.

That twist rocked! I didn't see it coming at all.   Very good,  quick horror.

I really enjoyed the twist in this one! I just was along for the ride and wasn't trying to guess so it hit me by surprise completely. Pretty decent horror with a cool twist.
