Final Offer is the third book in the "Dreamland Billionaires" trilogy. I will be frank, I enjoyed this one but not quite as much as the previous two books. This one was much more serious toned than I was expecting from it especially since Cal has previously been portrayed as the playful of the brothers and this was not a playful book at all. Sure, there was some entertaining lively moments but a very small amount than what I was expecting from it.

The story itself definitely had its emotional depths and I really enjoyed the second feel to the story. I really loved the way that this author implemented so many things within this story. My two favorite things was see Cal reconnect with his girl, and then connect with her daughter. I just found seeing these relationships so well focused and poignant at times. The series is really nicely wrapped up with a bow with what happens to the brothers for the grandfather's will and seeing what happened to the father. I really admired Cal at the end though and what he is willing to do to change for the better. It was truly so inspirational. This one is definitely a keeper and I can't wait to explore more of this author.

Overall I found Final Offer to be a delectable, with aspect of intellectual depth and emotional growth to impact the reader on a deeper level! A KEEPER OF A READ!

ShadowWolfe is the 8th book in the de Wolfe Pack series. I really had such a blast with this one here. I did a combo variation of listening to this one and reading this on my kindle scribe. I really had a blast with this one though. This is an author that writes historical romance so authentically and you can tell she knows her history and really portrays it so well in her style of storytelling. Every time I pick her up, I am always impressed with how well her books are written and the same was true for this one.

In ShadowWolfe, this story is basically a forced proximity situation. The hero, Scott, is a widower. He lost his wife and children in a horrific accident and focused on being a battle seasoned warrior and knight and distanced himself from his family. Now its been years since, and he is commanded to take over the Castle Canaan when the man who was a husband and father and leader of Canaan, was killed sacrificing himself to save his life. What he doesn't expect is to be drawn to his widow, who is a mother of two children and pregnant with the third. Even though King Edward has plans for her, he is determined to fight for her when he finds himself in her again and feeling love again...

I absolutely adored this book. The romance was a bit lackluster in the first half of the book, which is why its a 4 star instead of a 5 star read. I really adore the way that this author just makes history come alive. She adds in such vivid detail that works so well. Both the characters were so loveable, I really became so endeared by the way that Scott fights to marry the heroine. It was so wonderful seeing the way that Scott finds himself again and faces up to his past and learns to heal. The way that this was implemented was so well done and authentic. The emotion that the author portrays was so vibrant and I was able to connect to on such a deep level.

Overall I found ShadowWolfe to be a delightful, thrilling historical adventure that delivered in so many ways! UTTERLY A JOY TO READ!

Priceless is the 8th installment in the "Forbidden Men" series. Linda Kage is one of those authors that write some of the best New Adult romances. When I read Priceless this was also an pick from my TBR for the Romanceopoly Reading Challenge. I will be honest in that I absolutely adored this book and is one of my favorites of the series so far.

Priceless was such a unique take on a romance. I really loved seeing that the heroine was dealing with Cerebal Palsy and was mostly in a wheelchair. Then we have our hero, who also suffered in his own way as he was dealing with some PTSD and being sexually assaulted as a young teenager. But then Brandt and Sarah meet through the most unlikely means and they become the best of friends. I loved the way that we see their friendship grown in their early years, it was so endearing. But then we skip to when they are adults, both in college, and then a mix of unrequited love and a pining heroine happens here. I really enjoyed the way that the heroine goes after what she wants. But she does have a battle ahead of her in convincing Brandt to take a chance on them being more than just friends.

Brandt is suffering from affects of the assault that he suffered as a child, so he tends to push his girl away at times, because he doesn't want sex to ruin what they have. So you can see why he has his reservations, but also, he looks at sex in a certain way and feels like it would spoil his feelings for Sarah, much of his reservations is seeing him deal with him being abused as a child. My heart just felt for Brandt though, even when he was pushing Sarah away. But when the truth is revealed about what he suffered, I just really loved the way that their family and friends just really come together for Brandt. It just had my heart.

The romance that builds between Brandt and Sarah was so heartwarming in so many ways. Even though they have some hurdles to overcome with. I was so charmed with the way that they support each other, and just click on so many levels. It was so interesting see the heroine being the one pining for the hero and the way that she goes after wanting more in their relationship. I was so endeared by her character and seeing the way she is battling to have what she wants with Brandt even if they hurt each other a bit along the way.

Overall I found Priceless to be a true treasure of a read! Its a story to delivers on friendship, trust and healing!

The Truth about Cads and Dukes is the second book in the "Rescued From Ruin" series. I was looking forward to this one, as it had a great setup. I do see why this one is a fan favorite though. I really enjoyed it. I will be honest in that it didn't "wow" me though. It was more of a relaxing enjoyable read that just was a fun sexy ride. I am really loving the way that this author writes her characters though. While the writing could use a bit more polish, it was such an endearing story that had plenty of heart to it. I was so touched by their relationship but mostly by the way that the heroine most especially in how she was such a caretaker of the hero. I will be honest this author could teach authors how to write healthy balanced heroines that uplift their man and NOT tear them down.

Another plus to this book is seeing what a wonderful set up to a marriage of convenience that this one turned out to be. I really enjoyed seeing more depths to the hero and the way that these two just learned to fit together. I really related to the heroine though and in her battle in gaining confidence and finding her own path as a duchess. It was quite enjoyable seeing the character growth. From our hero we have a commanding presence, who is "set" in his ways, but the heroine really brings some unique adaptations in his character being developed.

I am becoming more intrigued by this author's writing style and very fascinated in seeing more of the series and where it goes from here. Definitely fascinated by "the Truth About Cads and Dukes" and looking forward to exploring more from this author.

The Protector is the 2nd installment in the "Sons of Texas" series. I was first drawn to this series by the covers, I just love how patriotic they feel. But I have to say that this book completely blew me away, I loved it so much more than the first book. I think part of it is that this one wasn't in audiobook format. I think reading this series physically is just best for me currently.

So The Protector is part of a series that NEEDS to be read in order. You aren't going to want to read this out of order, as this is intense world building that will make more sense to read these books in order.I absolutely adored The Protector, it just clicked off all the boxes for me especially for a romantic suspense. I won't reveal too much about the story itself though, however, lets speak on the impressions this story left to me first.

What I enjoyed most was the actual team playing between our main protagonists. the way that they connect together and just click with each other is just magic. I just felt that tight bond between them instantly. The chemistry between them is instant but I like the way their romance was developed. It was pretty well balanced with the actual plot building of the story itself. If you are suspense fans, then this story is really going to work for you.

Overall, I found The Protector to be a kick ass romance that just had me in my feels and the intensity was dramatic, wonderfully portrayed and delivered on a sexy edge which packs a punch!

Unbroken is the last book in the "Secret Life of Amy Bensen" series and this book takes us to the finale of this world that the author has created. I absolutely ADORED this book. It was just so delicious. And it was so great seeing Liam and Amy again and adjusted to real life again. It just had my heart in so many ways and oh the "feels" of this story was just right. There was a slight level of suspense though, but enjoyed seeing them find their HEA. We see Liam and Amy readjust to normal life, plan their wedding and celebrate Christmas and we get some good times with Amy's brother, Chad and Gia. There are some ends that are tied up in a bow, and others not completed tied off but with a HFN feeling. I am curious if this author wrote any connecting books.

Forsaken is the 3rd installment in the "Secret Life of Amy Bensen" series and this installment has the focus of Caleb's book. Now this is Amy's Brother. Now I know with the first two books, and how most of Lisa Renee Jones books are written, its a bit of a shock not to have Liam or Amy but don't worry we definitely see them in the later half of the story. But i was happy that we received Caleb's book. His story was a bit different, but super intense and I guarantee that it will keep you on the edge of your seat all the way through. This definitely is a strong enemies to lovers. As there is quite a bit of mistrust. Caleb has practically been betrayed by everyone except for family, so his sister is the only one he knows he can trust fully. I really loved his character, and Gia was a fabulous heroine. She knew how best to work with Caleb on his suspicions. And slowly she and Caleb find a love together. But they have an enemy that wants to destroy them no matter the cost.

This book was a kick ass story and it really had me in my emotions and on the edge of my seat in how the plot was developed. I am curious to see how this book will be adapted by Passionflix.

I had such high hopes for this one, as I used to read this author when she had that rock star romance series and I ADORED those books. But this book just felt like a hot mess. It was all over the place and I just wasn't enjoying it that much but I pushed through it. I just found this one to be such a disappointment and I am not even wanting to read the rest of the series, so I might try looking through her backlist and see if she has other series that might appeal to me more. I know she can write great things so I think I just had such high hopes for this one here. And I expected so much from it and it just didn't work for me. So many aspects of it just made no sense to me. But I will try some other books. But I am more picky about books these days and just won't stick with a series if a book isn't doing it for me. It might have been a "me" issue.

The Care and Feeding of Waspish Widows was a delightful read! It definitely had great promise and I had some high expectations after loving the first one ( I five starred it) so I was expecting some things with this one and I will be honest while it had some factors that I did enjoy, it just didn't quite work for me. The biggest issue that I had with this one here is that there is cheating. One of the protaganists is married, and even though he is a ocean away, they are still legally married so I did struggle with that aspect all the way through the book. In fact, it really put me off. I just don't care for cheating at all no matter the circumstance. Then another factor is the modernisms in this book. There were some situations in here that are not historically authentic at all. Like for example, the situation with Agatha's son and refusing to marry and the fact that so many people that Agatha talked to agreed with her son and his girl. I am sorry but that wouldn't have been the case in historical times when marriage would be expected or they would practically be shunned by society. This would even be the case even 20-30 years ago let alone a couple hundred years lol And there were some phrases here and there that just wouldn't have been said back then. So while I did enjoy this story as a whole, it just didn't quite do it for me. I still plan on reading the third book though, I am hoping that it is much better than my experience with this one here. I did enjoy the actual romance between these two though, and this author definitely knows how to write sensuality in such a beautiful way. I absolutely loved those moments and seeing the small moments between these two that was so tender and sweet!

Introduction
Terms and Conditions is the second in the "Dreamland Billionaires" trilogy and I absolutely had a blast with this one here. In fact I loved it just as much if not MORE than the first book and I absolutely adored "Fine Print" so to have a book that just was even better was just phenomenal. There is something so charming about the writing style of this author and I think its crazy how popular they have become. But they are worth the hype and they are true romance! This book also features some of my favorite tropes to have in a romance and in a contemporary it was so fabulous to be able to read. I will guarantee that you will laugh and cry and cheer these characters on and just wear your heart on your sleeve while reading them! That is how good they are!

The Main Protagonists
The Hero:Declan
-Alpha Male
-Billionaire
-Doesn't believe he is worthy of love
-Bossy

The Heroine: (Heroine's Name)
-Proactive
-In love with her boss
-bitter against relationships
-Secretary/Office Assistant

Summary
This story begins with our heroine, who is at the engagement party of Declan, when his fake posed fiancee runs for it and leaves them hanging. Declan must marry and have a child in order to get the CEO seat according to his grandfather's will. Then when Iris sees what is needed, she jumps in and claims the title for herself. She cares for Declan and knows how important this is for him, and is determined to make this work with him. But Declan is a hard boss and he will make an even harder husband. At first its all about business and keeping it practicall but Declan finds himself falling for Iris, a woman who is making him face his feelings and the heart he thought he had buried away. But now he must prove to Iris he is worth taking a chance on when every man previous has hurt her...

My Outlook
Terms and Conditions was everything that I was hoping for and more! I absolutely have a soft spot for a good marriage of convenience and I love seeing this trope in contemporary romance. This was so well done, I just loved the relationship between Declan and Iris. It was just so funny to see them fighting their feelings each other, when its always been there, both of them have been too afraid to admit it. It was quite interesting seeing the way in which they have to face up to the truth. But getting there won't be an easy road for them, and they both will have to take a leap of faith in love. Seeing two practical people find love together was a adventurous road that is for sure. But we have these small moments that are slowly built throughout the story that gradually brings them together. These "moments" were the best parts of the book because it just adds that intimate touch to the story that just fit them so well. I especially loved seeing our hard alpha male of the trio of brothers fall so hard for his woman and its a crash landing lol but the way he is willing to fight for her was brilliant and was so endeared by it.

Overall View
Terms and Conditions is a brilliant, feeds your soul and delivers all the witty laughs to get you eager for the finale, you definitely will be blown away by this installment!
