Introduction
Broken With You is the second installment in the "Stark Security" series. I absolutely loved this one here, it was so delightful and man me heart. This book had me all in my feels and all over the place. This is a story that if you love J.Kenner's writing style, then it will definitely work for you. I really have loved seeing her explore more into the romantic suspense sub genre and this series is most definitely romantic suspense. I have truly loved the way in which she developed this story and the set up was really heart wrenching, but J.Kenner really handled these aspects so well here. I was so drawn into this one here and just didn't want to put it down once I started it. I do think if you like stories that feature married couples, then you definitely should pick this one up.

Summary
Denise hasn't seen her husband Mason, in months. Where he went deep undercover and he has been reported as missing for months. Now he is back, but not fully. He has no memory of their marriage or his time with the Stark Security force, only glimspes of being taken and escaping. He has no clue who he is or what has happened to him. Denise is told by his psychologists that tell him that they are married could be detrimental to his healing. Denise is being torn apart not being able to tell the man she loves, their history or what connection they have or why there is glimpses of that connection and she can't tell him why. Mason knows that there is something vital between him and Denise but he can't figure out why. But when he learns the truth about them, then the risks seem even more real and only him and Denise working together will they be able to bring down their enemies fully...

My Outlook
Broken With You was such a deeply riveting story and I had my heart fully entrenched into this one. J.Kenner really wrote a gem of a read because I couldn't put this one down here. I was so hooked into their story and seeing them work through some serious issues here. My heart was aching for Denise, because she was in such a horrible position. You see her emotional struggle learning her husband is alive, but scarred and with no memory. You just feel her heartbreak over that and knowing that she can't tell him the truth, he has to figure it out on his own. But I have to say when he does learn the truth it was EPIC! That moment was the most memorable moment of the story for me other than the climax of the ending. We also see how they are faced with some great challenges in the second half of the story and it will take some creative risks for them to overcome them. I really love how this author kept me on my toes with this one and I couldn't seem to put it down. I was so all in for this couple and cheering them on all the way in. They will definitely stay in my mind for quite some time here.

Broken With You was a captivating story that brings together such deep brilliant emotion to the front of the reader's mind and cultivates a rich love story that delivers fully!

Introduction
Mess Me Up is the first book in the "Bear Bottom Guardians MC" series. I just loved this book but its very emotional so I think this book won't work for everyone. Make sure that you are aware of the trigger warnings on this (which I have at the bottom of the review for you). In this one, we have a story where the hero is going through something challenging in seeing his son lose the fight to cancer and its so heartwrenching in seeing how real this comes to life. The heroine is in charge of a cleaning service and his son connects to her and she also assists him in the grieving process and learning to live with it. I really loved how real to life this story seemed and the author really focused on the correct aspects to showcase the difficulties that parents go through when losing a child.

My Outlook
Mess Me Up is a story that was so heartfelt and deeply riveting. I was so easily caught up into this story. It definitely wasn't an easy story and from the beginning you know that as the reader you are definitely in for a rough road. We see how strong the hero loves his son and is having to see him lose this battle and there is nothing he can do to save him. The author handled this scenario so well. We see how he goes through this process but also how our heroine is there when he needs her the most and is his strength through the roughest times for him. There is something so endearing about the writing style of this author and how she implements such hard issues into a captivating story that just won my heart so quickly!

Overall View
I found Mess Me Up to be a fascinating story that kept my emotions high and my heart full fledged into the story.

Introduction
Guardian's Mate is the 9th installment in the "Shifters Unbound" series and in this story we have the story of the bear friend to the stories previous "Zander" I can't tell you how much I ended up enjoying this one here. Just reading this made me realize why I love this series so much here and why it did so much for me. I really love the way that this author implemented this story with Zander and Rae. I loved seeing the Guardian in the book being the heroine. We have yet to see a female guardian and I loved the way that Jennifer Ashley developed this story in such a wonderful way.

My Outlook
Guardian's Mate is a story that bring two complete polar opposites from each other. The hero well is bold, honest and has connections to everyone, literally he probably knows everyone in the world that can help shifters Haha Then we have our heroine, who was adopted by her family as she was abandoned when she was just a cub. When the Goddess shines her light upon Rae and deems her a guardian, heads ROLL! How dare a woman be a guardian Haha Much of the shock comes from the fact that there has only been male guardians in the history of guardians, so it's more people need to come to terms with some change, people really don't like change at all. I really found the relationship with Zander and Rae to be fascinating. Their bantering is hilarious for sure, but they actually balance each other so well. We get some action to the serial plot of the series that I really got a kick out of too. It was fascinating seeing these two get mated and seeing them work through the issues that crop up with them.

The actual relationship that is focused between Rae and Zander, was interesting. At first we just see them working together on figuring out the guardian thing and spending some time in Alaska. We get to meet some new friends and man my heart just went out to Carl but loved how Zander and Rae were able to build a friendship with him. Then we get introduced to some feral shifters and yeah some pretty badass kick ass scenes here. There is a bit of mystery involving the guardian sword and trying to get it repaired without too many shifters finding out about it.

We do come across some of my favorite characters with Tiger, Ian, and Sean. And the humor of this book was so delicious, I had forgotten how funny this author can be in her witty banter but yeah you can bet that I will be continuing shortly with these books here.

Overall View
Guardian's Mate is a superb read that stole my heart in so many ways and I became so endeared to this story and most especially in seeing Zander finding his mate!

Introduction
The Heiress At Sea is a standalone or maybe the first book in a new series, to be honest, after finishing this one I am SO not sure. There were leads in the books that I feel like I NEED their books, so it definitely didn't have the finality of a standalone and not all the ends were tied in this one, I really want the heroine family's books because give me all the privateer romances. I will be honest this was a grab from Netgalley that was super random and yes the cover is what sold me to read this one finally. I have no guilt about it whatsoever though. I do wish that I had been in the mood this one earlier because this book was everything. It was so entertaining and I had forgotten how well this author works for me. If you like authors like Amy Rose Bennett or Elisa Braden, then I definitely recommend this author.

Summary
Lady Cassia McQuoid is a spinster but she has always wanted to explore the world outside the life of the Ton. She decided to dress as a boy, and sneak aboard her brothers ship and she is determined to shape her own adventures. But what Cassia doesn't realize is that she has boarded the wrong ship and becomes the deck hand for the privateer, Nathaniel Ellsby who also happens to be the future Duke of Roxburghe. When the disguise is discovered by Nathaniel, he will now have to deal with a woman on his ship and a supersticious crew while also trying to deny the growing feelings that he is having for Cassia, who is a female contradiction. But will love win in the end?

My Outlook
The Heiress at Sea was such a delectable fun romance to read. It wasn't anything like what I expected. I thoroughly enjoyed this one fully and it had such great witty banter to the story that I had forgotten this author tends to write in her stories. Its been so long since I read a privateer romance and I found the premise of this one to be so intriguing. You definitely should go into this one with a open fresh mind. And the whole trope "female dressed as a boy" yeah its been a long while since I have read that as well. I honestly loved how different our characters are from each other. They are complete opposites but get along so well in their own way. The hero is sarcastic bad boy of a hero who thirsts for life on the sea and commanding his own ship. The heroine is sassy and completely clueless to sarcasm. The way that these two interact with each other especially in the beginning is just so fun. The reveal of the gender of the heroine was just right and I really enjoyed how the author definitely took a strong focus on the supersticious nature of seamen especially in regards to women. Highly entertaining from beginning to end. We even get some action scenes that really build up the intensity quite well. I actually enjoyed how the story concluded, and I am hoping that this ends up turning into a series because I just fell in love with the families that we see connected in this one here.

Overall View
I found Heiress at Sea to be a delectable sexy romance that catered to the thrilling nature of a nautical romance with all the adventure and aspects of fighting for love that became so endearing from beginning to end.

Introduction
In The Vow, which is the companion novel to "The Auction" by Maggie Cole. In The Vow, this story basically picks up from where the first book ends. So you most definitely will want to read the first book first before diving into this one here. I really was curious to see how Maggie Cole was finish up the Duet. I personally ADORE duets, when done well, they can be so full of depth and growth. But honestly, I wasn't a fan of some aspects of this one. I still felt like it was a solid read for sure, but the heroine was flakey at times. So I honestly struggled with her and she is the reason I had to lower my rating on this one. I do think that if you enjoyed the first book, then you most definitely will enjoy this one. I do understand if this duet isn't for everyone. Its completely different from anything that I have read from this author before so it was quite interesting to see what she develops on this one.

My Outlook
I won't be doing a summary on this one as I don't want to spoil it. There are reviews that do share some aspects of this one, but I do think you can easily go into this one blind. So while I had some issues I honestly really enjoyed this one. So basically this is where the grovels happens throughout the WHOLE book and its not needed to last that long. The heroine is so stubborn and batty at times. So she knows the man she married, she knows he is ruthless at times, so why did it take her so long to forgive him? I honestly don't know. Its really confusing to me, but she frequently hurts the hero all throughout the story and I just couldn't keep up with it. My main issue is that she keeps saying that she accepts him and loves him for who he is, but she really doesn't. She just wants him to not be who he is, and that is what she has to come to terms with. Much of the delay and drama is on her own. She really has her own issues that she needs to come to terms with but in the process hurts him. Now I do think through most of the story, she doesn't realize this. She is pretty clueless on this. So in some ways you can understand it from her point of view, however, I don't think it justified how she is constantly pushing him away and never listening to him about her safety and then turns to her manager knowing exactly how the hero would react to it and then act all offended by it. So I just felt like the heroine needed a cold wake up call and the hero was way more patient with her than he should have been. Yes he wrongs her, but I mean it takes months and months for her to come to terms with it. I did enjoy other aspects of the story and the club scene was interesting, not as dark as I was led to believe though. It seemed a pretty tame scene haha but I do think this scene was essential for this couple so I am glad that we got to see how it really assisted them a bit on the issues that they were having with each other.

Introduction
The Auction is the first book in the "Club Indulgence" Duet by Maggie Cole. I had heard some mixed aspects of this duology from quite a few people but I knew from readers that I trusted, that I would end up enjoying this one, and it was superb! If you have read this author's mafia romance, then go into this with lower expectations, because this one will be so different from anything that you have read from this author before, its completely different but it still has her distinct presence. It was so fascinating seeing the author write something that was so so different from anything previously we have seen from her until now. But I enjoyed the ride that this book delivers...

Summary
The gist of the story is that the hero, Riggs, who worked from the bottom up to become the business partner but when he learns that his partner of years has betrayed him and stolen millions of dollars from him and their clients, he is determined to get revenge. But what he doesn't expect is that the daughter of his business partner, who was previously forbidden to him, is now practically available to him and he plans on taking advantage of this opportunity. Blakely, always dreamed of being a singer. But when her father treated her with just the value of selling her off to marry to just be an ornament and nothing more substantial than that, she knew she wanted something so much more in her life and to make her life mean something. So she goes on her own, but through a set of circumstances she ends up on the auction block to be a sub to a dom. She had no clue that when she was auctioned off, how much of her life would be changed or how much her love for Riggs would be betrayed in the end....

My Outlook
I absolutely adored this book so much! It definitely is not a perfect book, it has lots of messes and mixed emotions and will really push the boundaries of the reader. This is a book that you won't be expecting and will turn out so different but I enjoyed the wild ride that Maggie Cole delivers on this one. I absolutely adored the way in which these two come together. I always love a good "auction" themed story, and this one was superb. It really does handle the BDSM aspects in a different way than I expected and to be honest, I struggled at tiimes with some of the bedroom scenes. But I kept my patience with it and it did pay off...eventually. I actually found myself so enamoured with this couple. What makes them such a great match is that our hero is a alpha and is the type of alpha that needs a woman to not fully submit, he needs someone that will stand up to him. I really liked the push and pull that happens between this couple. It was so interesting to see them build on what they discover with each other. The ending is most definitely a cliffhanger and eager to the grovel that I am sure is to come.

Overall View
I found The Auction to be a edge of control romance that pushes the limits and allows the reader to expand in their expectations and will take you on a crazy wild ride you won't see coming...

Introduction
Ten Tiny Breaths is the 1st book in the "Ten Tiny Breaths" series. This is a book that I have been meaning to get to and I went into this one not knowing what I was getting into. I had no clue what this one was even about, it was more a blind reading of it. I just knew the author and that so many fellow readers really enjoyed this one. This story is NOT what I expected. I don't know if its the covers or what, but I actually thought this was romantic suspense, and yeah thats not this. But its still dang good. Its definitely just contemporary/new adult. The new adult aspects are lighter, other than the ages of the characters, thats the only new adult aspect. They aren't in a college setting or anything and the way in which is written is much more mature.

Summary
Kacey, when she was a teenager, was in a car accident where she lost her parents and her boyfriend at the time. Now its been four years later, she has physically recovered, but emotionally and mentally she is barely keeping the anger and unresolved PTSD issues at bay. When her sister ends up being at risk by a family member, Kacey takes her sister and heads to Florida for a fresh start. Kacey meets her neightbors, and starts a new job but what she doesn't expect is to find herself wanting to open herself up to a neighbor in her building, who has such a presence about him that allows her to want to free herself of the burdens she has. But they both have dark pasts and secrets and when everything comes to light....will they be strong enough to get through it and find their way to their HEA...

My Outlook
Ten Tiny Breaths was such a superb read and honestly its been a long time since I had such an emotional intense reaction to. This book literally had me crying buckets of tears. Now that isn't a negative aspect at all. I really do love a story that will make me 'ugly cry' because especially when I least expect it, its so cathartic at times too. I really want to be careful in what I share in this review because I also don't want to spoil some aspects of the story that was so intense. But what really worked for me is the romance between the characters. There is such a strong presence of a deep connection between them. The hero is such a mix and I think I would best categorize him as a alphamellow or alpha cinnamon roll. He isn't a straight out alpha male, because he has such a soft center for the heroine and I just adore the way he is with her. He is so patient and he just gets her in a way that most people don't. This heroine is PRICKLY! She does have good reason to be so prickly though, you really see the realities of PTSD and my heart just ached for these characters and what they both go through. I am not sure if I want to read the novella (if you have read the series, let me know what the novella is like).

Overall View
Ten Tiny Breaths is an incredibly crafted romance that just delivers on the deep emotion and riveting writing that strikes to the heart of the reader!

When A Girl Loves An Earl, is the fifth installment in the "Rescued from Ruin" series and in this one we get the long awaited story between Viola and James. This is a unrequited romance and I absolutely adored it so much. I love a heroine going after her man and being the one pining after the hero. Both of these characters are so strong willed and feisty and so so stubborn and I loved seeing these aspects if I am being honest. They are so real with each other. I couldn't seem to get enough of their bantering and interactions. Elisa Braden really knows how to write good historical romance and most especially wonderful characters that just captivate you so deeply.

In this one we have our hero, who grew up as a Scot and had his own dreams that didn't include being part of the Aristocracy. But when he ends up the sole heir of the earldom, he has to sacrifice everything to do what needs to be done and loses the woman he loves and more. But now he is fully fledged into his role, and determined never to marry or have children. But then he is overwhelmed by a young woman who has her heart set on him. James is torn because he knows that there is something real between them but at the same time he also can't give into what he is feeling for Viola. But Viola knows he is the only man she could ever love and will fight for their relationship no matter the stakes.

What appealed me the most about this book was seeing a heroine going after the hero. I loved how determined she is and strong she is about it. Now there are some factors to this that can prove to be ingorant at times, especially to the consequences of her actions. But she definitely learns the cost of her actions and accepts the responsibility that comes with that. I loved how Elisa Braden developed this story, I wasn't sure what would happen here, but it actually ended up being such a solid read and I became endeared by this pairing and we got hints for the upcoming next story and I can't wait for it.

Definitely a win of a historical read and truly loving this author!

Protector is the 4th installment in the "Galactic Gladiators" series. I absolutely adored this one here, it was just so wonderful and seeing these two come together was endearing. The more I read of this series, the more I end up falling in love with it if I am being honest. I am really liking what Anna Hackett delivers on this one. We get some real emotion on the trauma of the women being taken from their home. Our heroine, Madeline, left behind a son. So you really feel for her and her grief knowing she will never see him again. Then we have our hero, who is one of the gladiators "Lore" but also have some mysterious abilities. He is inherently protective and wants to be a protector for Madeline. But Madeline is determined to find her friend who is being forced to fight into "to the death" bloody fights that are underground. As Madeline and Lore search for these fights to rescue him, they will come across a underhanded plot in the world they now live in and will have to work together to survive...

This book was just so action packed and had me at the edge of my seat! I just fell so hard for Lore and Madeline so quickly. I did think Madeline was a bit "blind" to the dangers and Lore had to get her out of it haha and then she complains about being a damsel in distress, well if a heroine makes not the smartest decisions, you might need a brawny fighter to save your life lol But what I love about Anna Hackett, is even when a character makes some reckless decisions, she makes it feel relatable and you can so easily connect with the characters. She really fleshes them out and they become so endearing. The romance between these two is pretty superbly written and I easily got behind them as a pair. Definitely eager to continue with the series.

Introduction
Dark Possession is the 11th installment in the "Pure/Dark Ones" series. I can't believe how far I have read into this series, part of me is thrilled but at the same time, baffled how I have read so much so far and its going by too fast because I am just gobbling up these books and just can't get enough and what on EARTH am I going to do when I go through all of this author's books? After reading the previous book, I was really stoked for "Dark Possession" because I just knew it would be a crazy wild ride, and you know what .....THIS BOOK IS WILDIN' and I LOVED every moment of it. Dark Possession is an intense ride with a sexy alpha male, a badass scribe heroine, fabulous spice, courtly setting and an ending that packs a punch.

The Main Protagonists
The Hero: Ramses, Dark King
Alpha Male
Secret Identity
Royal

The Heroine: Eveline
Pure One's Seer and Scribe
Intellectual
Lover of books and ancient writings
Psychic abilities

Summary
When Eveline is kidnapped and traded to be the Dark King's blood slave, she makes a deal with Ramses, the first ever Dark King, to be his blood slave for a period of time if he will allow her access to the ancient documents in his library. While Eveline is completely out of her element, she refuses to let down her guard and let Ramses see the fear and reservations. While to most she is this timid mouse, she is so much more than she appears to be which makes her the perfect match for the edgy possessive alpha king who is so much more than he appears, and while on the surface Eveline and Ramses seem complete opposites, when they learn to let down their guard and let the other into their hearts, a epic beautiful union forms between them that no one can get between...

My Outlook
Dark Possession is a story that I knew I would fall in love with, just because of the set up and how these two are introduced to each other and their "meet cute" yeah I was on the edge of my seat in anticipation. I have to say that I think this might be my all time favorite of the series. It completely tops my other favorites, and I am not sure I will be able to explain what this book did for me. Every time I step into this majestic world of Aja James, I am so humbled and stepping into Dark Possession was NO different. There was something so magnetic about this book that I just couldn't pull away from, no matter what was going on. Seriously, if there was a earthquake and my house was falling apart, I would still be immersed in this book, that is how completely addicted I was into this one.

Dark Possession is a story that starts out with a kidnapping and yeah I was ALL FOR IT! And I mean a royal and scribe match up? SIGN ME UP right away and it was nothing like I was expecting. I really thought Eveline would be this timid shy reserved character but she is so much more than that. She does have some of those characteristics, us book nerds can relate in some of that I think, BUT she also is sassy, strong willed, and fights for what and WHO she wants. Seeing a pining heroine and in reality both of these pine after each other in different ways. I think what first sold me onto the heroine is when she shows up the hero in their first court scene together and yeah I was literally dancing a jig for her badass ways because she is like a cat when she "pounces". She has such an evolution that we get to see in such beautiful moments. Ramses really brings out her inner nature and its epic seeing her change and what depths that adds to her character. Now as for our hero, he is a sexy beast. Yep I said it and thats what he is haha and man he is DELICIOUSLY ALPHA. In fact, its been a while since I have read a hero so alpha male and I was all in for him. Ramses has my heart forever. You see how torn he is on his feelings for Eveline because he has to handle being with her very delicately and he handles it just right in my opinion.

The world building that we see in this one was a bit different than in previous books but it adds another clue into this beautifully crafted world that this author has created but I just know there is more to Ramses and Eveline and how they will fit into this Pure Dark Ones world and we are just seeing the beginning of it. There was some flashbacks but they are minimal in this one, but it allows us to see into the past of Ramses and his true identity and yeah I was blown away by what is revealed but it also thrilled me seeing the type of man he has become and what his beginning was. I will say that the climax of the story was not what I would have expected at all and the villain of the story... just shows that there is always more layers to a story than meets the eye. I was completely hooked into the development of the plot in this one. We get some delicious times with some of our favorite side characters and seeing them with Ramses and Eveline was enchanting. I just want to jump into the next book so badly.

Overall View
Dark Possession is a sensual captivating romance that brings together the two most unlikely souls in a union that reaches to the depths and of hidden delights....PURELY CAPTIVATING!
