I just did this one as a reread as I have read these books some years ago. As I had a friend that was getting into these and thought I would read along with her on them.
It was different reading these books as one book though. Love her dress in this cover though, its super pretty.
To see my full review of these books, check out my reviews of the individual books of this trilogy. K Webster is queen though and can write just about anything and make you fall for it.

My Review:
How on EARTH did this author make me feel this deep? How does she do this to me every single dang time haha I absolutely enjoyed this book so much. Now it wasn't a five star or anything because the DRAMA between this couple was a bit ridiculous at times. I just didn't understand how they just wouldn't communicate their issues when you have been together like they have been and sacrificed what they have for each other. But man when they finally start communicating and being open to each other and that is when things get LIT for them. I actually loved seeing this extended novella for this pair (they are the couple from Priest) and it was interesting to see how they were dealing with life after what happens in Priest. I did appreciate that we still see them believing in their faith and having that still be a big part of their life. It was just a fun novella that I couldn't get enough of and was having a blast with.
Overall I am so glad that I picked this one up and getting caught up on this series

Dirty Sexy Inked is the second book in the "Dirty Sexy" series and I have found that this author is just a fun author to read. There wasn't anything too deep though so if you just need a non heart wrenching author but will still tackle issues then you need to pick this author up for sure. After loving the first book, I knew that I wanted to continue this series and really dig deeper into this world that this duo author created with this one. And I have to say this was a fun sexy read and even though part of me wishes that they had dug a bit deeper, I still had a fun time. I really liked the dynamics between this couple and seeing what the heroine has been hiding from the hero was so heartbreaking. These two pined for each other so badly, and I loved that chemistry and yearning that was building throughout the story. We also see a great level of emotion that just strikes at you without it being too heart breaking or getting you too invested you can't easily move on from the story and onto the next.
I quite enjoyed the writing style that was implemented within this story and the audiobook was SUPER good. I think I would love to listen to the rest of the series in that format if I am being honest. I am curious as this series is pretty big how they expanded this series and curious to explore this world that I first fell in love with, with that Passionflix adaptation (which is what got me curious about this series and this author writing team).

My Review:
This was an interesting story, not my favorite of the series, it kinda dragged a bit at times but I really liked the pairing. There was some confusion with how the narrator was describing the story so I was a bit confused at first in how they met. But once they settle together, it was really a lovely story. I loved the ranch setting, it being winter and Christmas and celebrating the season together. Pamela Clare delivered a solid story even if it wasn't her strongest, but it is a novella, so not all authors can handle these super well. But it was a sweet spicy romance that fans of suspense will love.

My Review:
Hood River Rat is the first book in the "Hood River Hoodlums" series. And it took a while to actually get to this book but I am so happy that I was able to get to it finally. I have been wanting to read more K. Webster, she literally hasn't written a bad book in my opinion.
Hood River Rat is a bully romance and it features some MM elements to it, and also "Gay only for you" type of theme to the relationship. I found their connection so interesting. And I do think that this is one of the better bully romances out there, but I do think the MM aspect made the bully aspect a little bit more intense at times. Because boys bullying to other boys is different than an MF type of pairing and this was the first time that I had read an element of a MM bully romance and it really worked for me in certain ways. This story though had me in ALL of my feels. It was so intense in so many ways, and I was just so hooked especially in the second half. K. Webster really ups the ante of intensity and plot driven details in the second half. The first half is a bit more slow burn focused and more relationship and character driven.
The dynamic of it that was so fascinating and really pulled me in was the aspect of Roan and his home situation. Man, my heart just broke for him and what they went through and the ending man MY HEART!!! I need to read the second book so badly now. Because Jordy and the sister get together and I need that like NOW LOL
Overall I fell head over heels in love with Hood River Rat and can't wait for more Hoodlum books.

First Impressions
She's A Wild One is the finale in the "Wilds of Montana" series and I can't believe that we are at the end of this series because I am not ready to leave this family, although I haven't quite yet read the prequel novella so I will be reading that one very soon here. Kristen Proby wrote true perfection within this story though. I don't think I have loved a couple from this couple quite as much as these two. There was something about them that literally just hits different for you. I was so captivated because you expect something super angsty and while it had those elements we see so much happy couple page time that it literally swept me off my feet.
First Line
Its been the best fucking month of my life.
The Main Protagonists
The Hero: Haden Lexington
The Heroine: Millie Wild
Summary
Haden and Millie discovered a sweet love when they were young and life was fresh and new. But when Haden's father found out the truth about them being together, he forbid them being together or he would take final actions and threatened the lives of those that Haden found the most precious and would protect no matter the cost to himself. So he had to hurt his woman to save her. And now its been eight years, Millie still hates him and hasn't forgiven him for the pain he caused her. But when his father dies and there is an ultimatum in the will that he must marry to inherit what belongs to him and his sisters, he makes the final step and asking Millie to marry him with conditions, and surprisingly she agrees to their arrangement. Only the more time that they spend together, wounds are forced to heal as they confront the truth about themselves and discover a wild love that is worth fighting for.
What I Loved
Man my heart just became so consumed within this one here. I couldn't seem to get enough of it and I literally listened to this one in one sitting, that is how good it is. I absolutely adored everything that this author conveyed here. I also loved the premise of this story. Marriage of convenience in a contemporary western.....GIVE IT ALL TO ME haha and what a powerful story this turned out to me. I absolutely ADORED the main characters here. There actually wasn't anything that I even had issues with where they are concerned. Which surprised me because the heroines in this series there has been something that has just rubbed me the wrong way. But Millie is so relatable and just normal and isn't crazy and despite what Haden did to her, she isn't cruel to him. Even in the beginning I understand why she treated him the way that she did. And I have to tell you that my toes curles every single time he called her "wife", there was so much alpha goodness in this book I wanted to cry because contemporary just doesn't have that vibe as much as it used to unless its a morally grey hero so BRAVO to Kristen Proby for writing such an incredible story that melted my heart in every single way.
What I Struggled With
Nothing lol I mean I wasn't a fan of the dad and in how he treated Millie because you just love the parents all throughout the series, but I just couldn't understand why he treated his daughter, his baby girl, the way that he did and it was really so heartbreaking to watch how it was tearing apart the family.
Narration
POWERFUL! These two narrators are such the perfect options and I literally didn't want to put them down at all, just had me swooning all over the place and they really added the right levels of emotion at the right time.
Overall View
She's a Wild One is a poignant but heart wrenching romance that will explore unique facets of the human condition, of difficult circumstances and learning to rise above and find healing in ways you least expect to find it. A truly golden gem that melted my heart!

Steam/Spice Explanations
Simmering cup of tea---soft warm touches and light intimacy
Warmin' by the fire- a medium level of sexual tension, a balance of sexual and emotional intimacy, lighter on the details in the sexual moments.
Steamin' up the room -the sexual content is more explicit in the language and tone, heavier amount of sexual scenes.
Blazing fire to the building-The prime focus is the sex scenes, scorching hot, and could burn one. Less focus on the emotional intimacy to the relationship.
