Summary
Honor and her sisters are in dire circumstances. Her nemesis, is going to marry her brother, Augustine, and she has made threats toward Honor, her mother and her sisters. Their mother is suffering from memory loss, and with their step father sick and soon to die, they know that their lives are about to change, and that they must take action. So Honor comes up with a plan, she will convince George Easton, a scoundrel, to try to seduce her brothers fiancée. George Easton, is a third son, and despite his parentage, he is poor, and has devoted all of his funds toward a shipping endeavor, but if he loses that ship, he will lose everything, except what he makes at the gaming tables. Which is where he first meets Honor Cabot. Honor is unlike any other woman he has ever known, she is daring and beautiful and knows just how to get him to cooperate. He realizes that life will never be easy with her at the helm, but he also knows he can’t get her out of his mind. But George has nothing to give Honor, except his name and a few hundred pounds, will Honor be able to give up her life of parties and gowns and financial security to be with the man she loves..
The Hero
George Easton, knows his place in society and it’s toward the bottom. He doesn’t have high standing, considering the fact that he has small funds, one town house, and supports himself at the gaming tables. George Easton is a bastard, and as such is only considered good for a few things…and that isn’t a place in high society. George Easton is a character I didn’t understand that much. I really liked him, and at first he seems very practical and determined, but he goes along with Honor’s illogical ploys, and it just didn’t fit with him…but I figure men act silly when a beautiful woman is involved and tend not to act like their logical selves. But what I did like about George was his drive to succeed, even when he makes reckless actions, his character is written in such a way that you just can’t help but like him.
The Heroine
Honor is in a bad situation, and even though she is the least practical person, she is determined to do what it takes to protect her family from a woman that would kick them to Europe or the America’s…just to get them out-of-the-way. You see honor’s love and drive to protect those she loves…even in the most ridiculous ways that she goes about it. But even though she could seem very immature at times, and silly, I felt respect for her character. In the story we are put in her mind more, and we what drives her, and she does have good intentions, and despite everything I loved that about her. The way she loves her family and would do anything for them except get married. We see how she likes to do things the hard way…but a very entertaining way though.
Plot and Story Line
Trouble With Honor is the first book…and what a fun romance this was. I had read mixed reviews and ratings about this one, but I like Julia London, and it was a cheap audio book, so I thought it would be good to give it a chance…and I did. At first I will admit the story seemed to drag a bit, but one aspect I have noticed about Julia London’s book you have to give them some time before you get into it and boy am I glad that I stuck with this one, because I adored this story and the narrator is just fabumous…I have listened to other books she has narrated and she is very talented is accents and in portraying the characterizations. There is one thing I just loved about this book…was how George and Honor clicked together. They fit perfectly especially in moments that they don’t realize it. One of my favorite aspects of this story was the way the romance develops because it was different. This pair first meets at the gaming tables, and there is some fiery sparks, but somehow those sparks don’t die despite their difference in positions. What was great about this pair, was how they work hand in hand in such a harmonious way, and especially the first half of the story they don’t see how well they do together. I love that it creeps up on them, and before they realize it…they fall hard for each other. What really got to me was the last part of the story (don’t worry I won’t reveal anything) but it got me emotionally involved, and I so wanted these two to find a way to be together…because they deserved it and they need each other. And they do fight for each other, and even if you have reservations about the heroine…by the end of the book your view changes drastically…it did for me anyway, I love how she fights for love and for what she really wants, and not bow to society’s dictates. This is a romance that slowly won my heart over, in a very dramatic way of course…but nonetheless it happened and I am so thrilled to have discovered this book and I can’t wait to listen to Grace’s story, especially when we get a little tease about her at the end.
The Cover
There are two covers for this book, the newer one matches the series so I put that one up, because I like the couple poses…and I love this one. I love her dress, it’s so pretty and elegant, and I love the pose here, with is hand on her neck—*shivers down the spine* how I love that.

Rowan has just learned that her boyfriend, the love of her life, has kept a secret so much more than she ever imagined....he is a vampire! Rowan is blown away and has no idea how to handle this shock. At first Gabriel gives her space, but as the truth starts to sink in, she starts to realize that he is still the same loving and passionate man she first fell in love with. Now she might be in danger from a woman scorned that is jealous of her bond with Gabriel. And on top of that she learns that she is bound to him in ways she doesn't know yet but will change her life forever. After she learns everything and her full memories return to her, will she be able to grab at the chance at a future with Gabriel or lose him forever....
A Vampire's Soul is the second book, and it continues right from where the first book ended (which I loved, so you don't miss out on anything) and we see Rowan really struggling with the truth about Gabriel. At first glance you think...well why would she struggle with it so badly? But if you have read the first book, her finding the truth isn't the best way, and in fact I sympathize with her, because you see how shocked she is, and hasn't had much time to process it. In some parts of the book we don't see Rowan and Gabriel too much, but you see more side characters more involved in the story, and I loved that when Rowan does except Gabriel for all that he is, she does it with every part of her, nothing held back. One of my favorite aspects of Rowan, is that she doesn't hide anything, she is frank and honest and I enjoyed how refreshing her character is.
There is quite a huge element of danger and suspense added to the story, and then we see more about Gabriel and Rowans past together, and there is alot more to their bond than you ever realize. It definitely is heart wrenching at times, and my heart went out to this couple, that definitely deserve their happy ever after. There is quite a few layers in this story, very unique, that for being less than 300 there is so much happening in this story that pulls you in and you find yourself enthralled by the magic of the storytelling of this author that weaves a tale of passion and intrigue and a intense world that you ache to see more of. I definitely will be keeping this author in mind for the future. These two books are definitely going on the favorite list. I would highly recommend this author to any romance lover that is searching for a tender yet powerful vampire love story to capture your heart. MAGNIFICENT!!!

In the wilderness of Alaska, there is a dangerous being moving about killing in his wake. Alexandra Maguire, has seen these type of killings before. She knows what type of being it is and how dangerous it can be. Her own mother and younger brother were murdered by a vampire. But Alexandra is afraid to say anything. Kade, a vampire warrior has come to Alaska to discover who is killing at random, but he also has come to heal some bridges between himself and his family. When Kade meets Alexandra he is intrigued by her, and she is a ball of mystery and passion he wants to know more of. She seems aware of the danger that is surrounding them...more than the others in the town. But with the danger drawing close, both Kade and Alexandra will need to come to terms with their past and the demons that haunts them both. They discover a passion, and hidden secrets and a mystery begins to unfold that will bring one of the most dangerous creatures on their doorstep...but can they manage to stay alive?
In Shades Of Midnight we have Kade's story which I really had a blast with. I love stories that are set in Alaska, but they aren't too common. So I always gobble them up the moment I grabbed hold of a story with this particular setting in it. In Shades of Midnight we have our heroine. She lives in Alaska on her own now. Her father recently passed away and they both hid a dangerous secret for many years....that Alexandra's mother and kid brother were murdered right in front of them by a vampire. They came to Alaska to escape and to heal. But Alexandra is still haunted by her past. When a carnage of killings begin, she knows exactly the type of danger that they are in. Then we see the arrival of Kade, who at first frightens Alexandra. She doesn't know who he is, but she senses the dangerous aura about him. She knows he isn't who he says he is. But there is quite a bit of sizzling chemistry that erupts between these two. Despite the mystery and secrets that are between them, we see how that doesn't keep them apart.
This book was quite thrilling in many ways. I could barely contain the chills while reading this one. It has the same tone as the other books do only with a bit more mystery and intrigue thrown into the mix. Like with all the books previously, this author has given us a teaser that will lead us to the next book. She definitely does this on purpose because I can't seem to put this series out of my mind. I am curious to know about the villains in the series, the enemies of the breed warriors and the mysterious ancient one they have.
I think this is one of my favorite covers of the series so far. I really like the orange and green tones. I love the Alaskan forests in the bottom.
Shades of Midnight is a thrilling tale of dangerous villains, a riveting mystery to keep your blood pounding in your ears and a romance that sizzles on every page!! UTTERLY EXCITING!!

Night Shift is a anthology of four different authors: Nalini Singh, Ilona Andrews, Lisa Shearin, Milla Vane. Now I read the first two books, but the last two didn't hold my interest so I set those aside fairly quickly.
Secrets At Midnight was my favorite out of the two novellas that I was able to read. Nalini Singh to this day is one of my favorite authors to read and she conquers novella's like no other author I have seen. They always seem to have emotional depth that is rare to find in novella's. We have in Secrets At Midnight, is Bastien Smith's story. Bastien is a powerful feline changeling. When he scents his mate, he is drawn, however he can't seem to find her. He searches for her everyone. But one night he finds his elusive mate. A feline shifter herself but doesn't know it. But she isn't any feline, she is a canadian lynx. Her parents died when she was just a child and was raised by other caretakers. Kirby, smart and talented but has no clue of her true heritage. All she knows is that something strange is happening to her and Bastien in her rock through it all. The romance between Bastien and Kirby is tender yet powerful. I really loved seeing these two together. The emotions are quite vividly painted in this story, especially towards the end.
In Magic Steals, we see a romance between Jim and Dali. Jim, is a jaguar shapeshifter with power and influence. Jim and Dali have been dating for a while but have been keeping it secret. Dali doesn't expect anything permenant to happen with Jim. To Dali, he is so above her in rank and status, that she knows he could never have any real interest in her. But while on the hunt to find a missing woman, sparks fly betwen Jim and Dali and we see that their relationship is very "real". Jim is quite patient with Dali and I liked seeing these two work through some issues while fighting along side each other. Quite fun to see a happy ending for Jim.

Teague O'Malley has always hated the lifestyle that is the family business. All he cares about is protecting his siblings, and doing everything in his power to get them away from the corruption and the evil that taints their parents. But Teague knows its going to be near impossible to do, but he refuses to give up on those he loves the most. when their rival ends up killed, and his fiancee left up to take, his parents and her father make a pact for an engagement. There are three powerful families in Boston, and by marrying into one of the two...it will make them even strong and less of a vulnerable target. AT first Teague, doesn't want to enter a marriage of convenience. But upon meeting his future bride, he sees a woman he could come to care for. Callie Sheridan has always been training herself to take over her father's buisiness. She has worked hard to make it legal and honest---as much as possible. She is determined to make her marriage work with Teague, but she committed a grave act, an act that could ruin everything that she has with him. Teague is everything she could have ever hoped for in a husband. She will fight for him and those he loves even if it costs her life in the process.
Teague O Malley, hates his parents with a passion. He despises the family business and will do anything to get out, even if that means betrayed them by working with the FBI. But Teague is determined to save his brothers and sisters from the path their parents are forcing them to take. Teague has no choice, when his fathers word is law....literally. When he says jump....his children jump or face dire consequences. Oh good ole Teague...there is so much that I want to say about his character and so much that I grew to love and admire about him. He is loyal, honorable and a fighter. He doesn't give up even if it means the cause might be hopeless and not much chance of succeeding and could mean his termination by his own family. But Teague is honor to the core, and has worked hard to be that...no matter how difficult it is for him. He loves his siblings with a fierceness and so protective of those he loves.
Callista Sheridan is Teague's match in every way. She is a fighter too, but she fights in a different way. Callie was a heroine I liked from the first chapter. She is strong, tenacious and stubborn to a fault. Unlike Teague, her father is a man she loves and adores. Callie lost her brother, her only sibling. Now she is the only one left to carry on the family tradition. She knows that one day she will be responsible for the company, and she knows her father is not in the best of health. It is up to her to make sure the family business is legan and honest before his health deteriorates futher or she might not be able to hold it from the other men in power in their family business and causing a war among them. Callie hides a dreadful secret, a secret that huants her in her nightmares and she knows that one day she will have to pay for it, and Callie knows it could be her death. I loved Callie so much because she is vibrant and strong. I loved her courage and strength of will to do what needs to be done.
Katee Robert is a new to me author and I want to thank Caffeinated Reader for convincing me with her review that I had to try this one out. I was lucky enough that when I looked it up it was on sale for 1.99---but I think it went back up to 5.99. So I got luck with that deal for sure, and I think it was just for the day. I have gotten hooked on Mafia themed romances...and don't ask me why I have falled heads over heels with this trope but I am loving what I have read so far, and Katee Robert is my favorite author in writing it. Dang, can she write a romance I can't get enough of and seriously I have to wait months ----MONTHS PEOPle!! Like really, I have to wait that long....unless I get lucky enough to obtain the ARC, which my luck isn't always good so we will see what happens. *crossing fingers*.
Anyway, this story is simply amazing. It starts off a marriage of convenience. Now I don't think I have read this trope before in Contemporary romance, so this was new and fresh and I just soaked it all in with every page that I read. I actually love this trope, and it doesn't get used that much lately, so I was really excited to start this book. And wow, it defintiely worked for the story. In fact, it is part of what makes this story simply fabulous. We have two people, that are trying to make their lives and the lives of those they love better. They are stubborn and courageous and strong. Equally matched in temperments. Our hero, isn't a big fan of having to marry someone just to help out with the family business (which he loathes). However, when he meets our heroine, he sees her bruises and the dark circles under her eyes, and he sees a fighter and a woman he would feel honored to marry. He is a protector and from the beginning, he wants to know her for herself, and make the best of their arragement. I loved that about this hero. He makes the best of each situation...no matter how dire.
The plot is quite full of intrigue and spice and man the passion that explodes between these two is powerful and exotic. You can practically feel the steam coming off the pages. But there is so much more to this story than just heat. There is strength, depth of emotion and vividly portrayed moments that will want you to read as fast as possible because this story is so delectable you can't seem to get enough!!
I am so in lust with this cover...I mean really---can I marry him??!! Like really, he could ask me and I would say yes. That hair...the scruff, sexy pose in a suit!! GIMMME!!!
The Marriage Contract is a stunningly written romance that deals with the heart and emotion and fighting with every breath for what is right! A story of devotion, loyalty and passion. This author has written a treasure of intrigue, mystery and sensuality.

There are no guarantees but...I want your ring on my finger and you in my life for as long as we're granted. Not because of your family or my family or consolidating power or anyo of the other reasons that originally drove us to agree to this marriage. I want you, Teague. I Choose you
The plot is quite full of intrigue and spice and man the passion that explodes between these two is powerful and exotic. You can practically feel the steam coming off the pages. But there is so much more to this story than just heat. There is strength, depth of emotion and vividly portrayed moments that will want you to read as fast as possible because this story is so delectable you can't seem to get enough!!
The Cover
I am so in lust with this cover...I mean really---can I marry him??!! Like really, he could ask me and I would say yes. That hair...the scruff, sexy pose in a suit!! GIMMME!!!
Overall View
The Marriage Contract is a stunningly written romance that deals with the heart and emotion and fighting with every breath for what is right! A story of devotion, loyalty and passion. This author has written a treasure of intrigue, mystery and sensuality.

Debbie Renaud is a police diver, and when Allan's SEAL partner gets a broken leg, Debbie starts working with him. Allan and Debbie at first work professionally together. There is a mysterious woman murdered in the woods, and when a local woman and her baby are almost killed in a hit and run, Debbie and Allan realize that is more than a simple coincidence. Allan, knows that Debbie is human, who has no clue about wolf shifters and he knows that despite his chemistry with her, nothing can happen, because he could never mate her. Debbie is strong and professional and loves her work, but she has never felt such chemistry with anyone. But when Debbie accidentally learns the truth about Allan and then her life changes in ways she doesn't expect. She learns that she and Allan will be set on a course, there is no turning back from and she will have to learn how to adapt to new circumstances and the ever present danger.
Allan Rappaport, is a Navy SEAL and a expert diver and soldier. He is committed, driven and loyal. But he is also a were wolf shifter. His best friend is the Alpha of the pack, and when he becomes injured Allan is forced to use a alternative diving partner, Debbie. Allan at first is reluctant, but he forms a bond of friendship with this strong woman who gets to him in a way no woman ever has. Allan is quite the hero, and I loved many things about his character. First off, his friendship with the alpha is quite fun. It's obvious these two have known each other a long time, and can read signs from each other. Allan has a very strong personality, he is split in two over his duty to his pack and his attraction to Debbie.
Debbie Renaud has no clue of what Allan truly is, and who the towns people are made of. Debbie is a talented police diver, and she is committed to doing everything she can to protect those that need aid. Debbie was a heroine I grew to really like. Even from the beginning, there was something so real to her and I loved how human she felt. She isn't one of those "perfect" heroines, we sometimes read. She had flaws, but she also has spirit and strength and courage. She goes into a situation with no fear, and I loved how determined she is especially when it comes to finding the killer and seeking justice. But what was also pretty great about her character, is seeing how she faces up to a change in her life. She handles it pretty well considering the circumstances, and I liked that she didn't put on airs, and acts haughty. She looks at life in a very "common sense" way and I felt like I could relate with her in many different ways.
SEAL Wolf In Too Deep is the latest story from Terry Spear. Now for many years, I have been a solid fan of this author and I have really admired with what she has done with the series. It has definitely grown quite a lot, and I didn't realize how much she has written in this series. I wasn't sure what to expect from this one, before I started reading. I was hoping that it would be enjoyable, but I will say it didn't quite meet up to my full expectations.
My main issue with this story was the romance itself. The characters were full of facets and easy going and I felt so easy to relate with their situation. The plot was thick full of mystery and danger and some suspense, so I definitely couldn't complain on that score. However I had the most difficult time seeing these two as an intimate couple. There is a good solid foundation of friendship for much of the book, but even when their relationship goes to the next level, I couldn't feel the chemistry. It didn't feel like what I have seen in the series in the past, which was a bit of a let down for me. However I did love seeing the story play out from beginning to end. It was a fun experience to see characters from previous books come into play into this book. I loved having another SEAL wolf romance. Those are always fun, and I have always liked Allan. Debbie was strong, building a career, but at the same time she was creative, intelligent and heartwarming. She could be a fighter in one moment....and your best friend in the next with a sweet and kind nature. There was great duality that we see.
I think what really stood out to me in this story, was the way the plot plays out. There is some exciting scenes, funny moments between these two and man I loved the action and mystery. The mystery of finding the mystery killer is what drove the story to be a good read. My only complaint is wanting more from the actual romance. Hopefully her next book will be much more vibrant in that regard. But despite my feelings on the actual love story----I really enjoyed reading this one.
What a cover...man is he one sexy beast. I love the setting of the lake with the backdrop of the trees. Definitely gives off the feel that we see in the actual setting in the story iteself.
SEAL Wolf In Too Deep is a wonderful tale of a sexy SEAL shape shifter, a courageous diver, a killer on the loose and some steamy moments that wraps up into a likeable story. FUN AND ENGAGING!

This was a short story, short of 100 pages. But what a delightful story, this was despite a couple of things I had issues with. The story starts off with out hero, who has quite a bit of money and power but he needs his wife. His wife, Ava a professional dancer, ends up injured in a car accident, and she receives brain damage. Loses her memory at various moments and in one fatal day, their son she forgets about while out shopping. From that moment, she left her husband and son, her heart full of regret and guilt and knowing that she is a danger to her son. Its been a few years now, and her husband has come back for her. Malcolm misses his wife, but his priority is his son. He will do anything for him, and what his son wants and mostly needs is a mother.
Malcolm is a bit of a alpha male but with a mix of a beta, he takes charge when its needs to happen. What was most intriguing was the set up of the story. Seeing a married couple, go through some rough times, and get back together and begin reconnecting with each other. I loved that, and the sweet reunion with her son was quite poignant. I almost cried, it was too sweet. The romance is explosive and not just in the bedroom. They tend to argue (a lot) and to be honest it got a bit too much for me. It seemed a bit repetitive constantly, it was over the same issue. The heroine is so stubborn and prideful. I understand her reasons behind it, and my heart did ache for her as I was reading. But I also admired Malcolm for sticking to his guns, and standing firm against her reasons.
A likeable romance of a journey of guilt, regret and a healing love.

Its always such a pleasure to read from Christine Feehan, of course this is my second time reading this series. I read the first in the series "Shadow Game" and now I have just finished reading "Mind Game" and what a wild crazy ride that turned out to be. Nicolas Trevane has volunteered to go and find Dahlia Le Blanc, who Lily has found. Lily has been searching for all the young girls that her father changed and tormented and then sent out into the world alone. She thinks she has finally found Dahlia who is very powerful in a psychic way. Dahlia has had to live in isolation most of her life, because she has no anchor for all the emotions that bombarde her mind; especially anger which can send her into seizures if she isn't careful. Dahlia also goes on missions for NCIS (Naval Criminal Investigation ) She has just returned when she finds that those that raised her are dead, and one of her few friends Jesse Calhoun is being tortured for information to find her. Dahlia remains hidden, but stricken at the sight. Then she meets Nicolas who saves and conceals her from the enemy. Dahlia has no idea how to react around this strong capable yet psychic man. Dahlia is afraid that he will get hurt because of her. Since it has happened to her whenever she has gotten close to someone. Together they join forces, for they are on the run from people who are hunting Dahlia to destroy her and her only protection is Nicolas, who is highly trained and a professional. But beneath that exterior that they have built between them a explosive passion builds between them, one they can't explain and have never experienced. In the midst of it all, both Nicolas and Dahlia find relief in one another's arms. But there is still a mission to be carried out and with the help of the Ghostwalkers, Dahlia and Nicolas just might succeed if they work together as a unit.
Ever since I read the first novel from Christine Feehan, I fell in love with her writing and capabilities to protray stories that evoke such raw emotions as she does in "Mind Game". A couple weeks ago I just had the urge to re-read the Ghostwalker Series all over again, especially since I love this series. I absolutely adored Dahlia, she has such a inner strength and fortitude. She is contantly feeling pain under the stress of all the emotional energy that attacks her constantly. Its rare for her to find relief apart from when she sleeps. But when she meets Nicolas and the other Ghostwalkers, she finds for the first time in her life relief from all the energy and a way to learn to focus it. A task that has never been accomplished. Nicolas, is the perfect Alpha Male, arrogant, strong, capable, and loves to be in command and in control. Of course he has met his match with Dahlia, who also has to be in control. They go head to head a few times in the book, which was very satisfyingly enjoyable!!! I loved the way that the characters interacted, the bantering, the passions that ignite, and a thrilling supsenseful plot that keeps you on the edge of your seat and aching for more. I had no problems with reading "Mind Game" Its definitely one of those that I can re-read over and over, and one you will never be disappointed in reading.

Jenna Darrow, in the cold winter months of Alaska, was kidnapped and violated and now she has been rescued and has been taken back to Boston, to the Order's headquarters. Her companion is Brock, who can't seem to leave her side and aids her when she is in pain. Jenna learns that the life around her, the life she knew before is different from anything that she expected. She learns of the truth of vampires, and her brothers recent death and that there are certain changes happening to her body where a substance was inserted into her spine when she was captured. Jenna and Brock's lives intertwine as they delve into a new set of circumstances that bring them together, and they realize the chemistry that they have. Brock isn't looking for any kind of relationship, and Jenna is still grieving for her husband and daughters death and is not ready for anything with Brock. But heat and desire flare out of control ,and soon Brock and Jenna realize they might not have any control to where their hearts lead them.
Our Hero, Brock, is a member of the order and quite a bit stand offish. He is more reserved, battle ready, and one of the most hardened warriors of the order. But there is also a soft spot to Brock and this is the book that we see him clearly. Brock still bears guilt over his past, a past that in his mind, due to his mistakes cost a young woman her life and it has haunted him for years. But when Brock meets Jenna, his world shifts to her. At first we see how Brock doesn't full realize what is happening between them until his heart has already gotten involved. What I came to admire about Brock, was his devotion to the order and to Jenna---a woman he barely knows, but feels a soft connection to. I love the shy quiet types, and Brock fits the bill. But he isn't weak and anything. In fact, I have gotten the impression, over the books I have read so far, that he is one of the most competent men in the order. What was fun was seeing a deeper side to his character.
The heroine, Jenna is a character I really grew to like in the previous book. We see what a solid human being she is and she has suffered quite a bit. Her loved husband and six year old daughter, were killed in a car accident and Jenna still blames herself and still grieves for them, despite how long its been since it happened. Jenna is a strong woman though, and she isn't afraid to fight. She was once a cop, she understands the risks and dangers that there are in the world. Jenna is a kind soul too, but is in a vulnerable state currently. We also see her courage and passion and there were quite a few facets to her character I enjoyed. What was most intriguing is seeing her reaction to certain truths that become revealed to her. But I really liked her as the heroine overall and it was fun seeing her journey.
Taken By Midnight started off pretty quickly following the previous book, and since it left us with a bit of a teaser in the previous book, I was very relieved to see that it didn't take a large break and leave me confused. I will say that I truly enjoyed this one, not my favorite of the series, but well written and very engaging. This is one of my favorite aspects of Lara Adrian. She can so easily get me involved into a story, and I love that. There are some important events that take place in this book, where we see some questions answered and a certain mystery solved in the end, but there are also questions I had left unanswered. Some I was okay with, because I feel like as I continue with this series, certain events will happen to solve my curiosity. However I was very disappointed to see that we don't know everything of what is happening to Jenna. We learn some facts, but I was left feeling like I needed more in knowing about her situation. I am crossing my fingers that in the next book or so, we will learn and get the mystery solved regarding her delicate situation.
The romance that develops between Brock and Jenna, was quite unqiue and engaging. I loved their romance, because we have two character, still dealing with past hurts and we see how fabulous they are together and how much they learn to rely on each other for strength when one of them is vulnerable. This is what I truly loved seeing in their relationship. The way they learn to trust and rely on each other through the good and the bad.
Not my favorite of the series, however I really like the mix of colors with the red and dark blue and black....it adds a air of mystery and danger to it.
Taken By Midnight is a thrilling addition to an exciting series that will knock you off your feet and sweep you away into adventure, passion, mystery and suspense. In love with this wonderful world that Adrian has created for us.
