William, the Duke of Pelham, is adamant in being punctual and formal at all times. That there is always a plan in advance with every detail known. William knows that it is time to marry and beget a heir, as his duty. When he arrives in London for business and to continue his courtship of the woman he plans to marry, his world is turned topsy turvy when he meets Juliette and all the drama that accompanies her. When a gossip column claims that William and Juliette are having a affair, he is outraged, since that would never EVER happen, not in his world. He plans on ignoring the gossips among the ton and carry on as usual. Juliette is rumored to a talented and beautiful courtesan, and is part of the courtesan trio the "Jewels of the Ton". Juliette is very well known and loves the life she lives, but when a danger threatens her she has no choice but to turn to the Duke of Pelham who needs to be taken down a peg or two, and who better to do it than herself? He has a way too obsessive and orderly life, and she wants to show him the joys of chaos...and the power of true love.I can't say how much I just ADORED this book!!! I haven't read this author for a very long time, when I saw this title at my library, I just loved the cover and the blurb and knew I had to pick it up. Boy I am so glad that I did, I would have missed out on a fantastic read that just kept me captivated for a whole afternoon. That's right...I read it in just a few hours (that's right...it means I really really liked it) It definitely had its swoon worthy moments, and sexy and strong but yet vulnerable characters that had me feeling totally captivated. The flow of the writing was smooth and seemed to blend in perfectly and keep the reader interested. I also loved the exciting plot that keeps you on the edge of your seat, wondering what is going to happen next. I also enjoyed the side characters as well, it added additional flavor to the story. The enriching descriptions that are so vivid in detail, this author creates a enchanting setting for any reader to admire. I just love this author's amazing talent of making a story come to life, with witty scenes that just had me bursting out laughing at random moments, that I am sure others thought I was crazy. But I don't care.....I LOVED it!!! Had me seduced from the very first line!!! I can't wait to read the rest of this series, and planning on reading the rest of Galen's books. New top favorite author!!

And then his pride bubbled to the surface, and he took three steps, caught her about the waist, and swung her around.
"Oh, now what?"
"Now this." He lowered his mouth to hers and kissed her. He meant the kiss to prove to her that he could be spontaneous, that he was not as she painted him. But of course, as soon as he kissed her, he started wondering if this had been a mistake and if he shouldn't just go to bed--alone--to prepare for the early morning departure.
And then she kissed him back,
Her mouth moved under his, and she made a small sound like a satisfied cat. And Will forgot all about time and mistakes and everything but the woman in his arms.

"Jealous? Jealous? I am a duke. I do not feel jealousy."
To his utter amazement, she put her hands to her hears ears and screamed. ""If I hear you say I am a duke one more time, I will not be responsible for my actions. Duke's ar enot gods, Will. They are people. They make mistakes, apologize--or at least they should--and feel all sorts of emotions."
"I suppose you are an expert on such matters."
"I have known several dukes."
""Yes, and I am a duke--"
Her eyes widened, her lips pursed. "I" She shoved him. "Warned" Hard "You" Backward.
"Juliette--"
She shoved him again, and he stumbled against the lip of the tub, faltered, and fell, sloshing warm water all over the floor and soaking his clothing worse than the rain had done.
He stared up at her, water dripping in his eyes. He expected her to apologize, to look horrified, to beg his forgiveness.
Instead, she laughed.

So when she finds her fathers pocket watch she tracks it down to the new owner, Devon Grey. She follows him and they bump into each other close to a pub, they share drinks and end up sharing a very passionate night together. The next morning Lily disappears along with his watch, and Devon is furious. Now a year later, Devon and Lily see each other at a ball, and sparks fly, tensions rise, and their desire is reignited. Devon then blackmails her into doing certain tricks that leave them both laughing at fools of the Ton. When Lily is being forced to be betrothed to a man that is totally wrong for her, will Devon be able to put everything else aside and claim her before its too late....

This was such a fantastic read, I can't even express how much I loved this story. I read this all last evening, and I loved every fun and humorous moment. Must Love Dukes is the first book from the debut author. I tend to get really nervous with debut authors, since I never know how I am going to enjoy them. After reading this title however, I am addicted to this author already and I can't wait to get my hands on the next two books in the series. From the blurb, it seems like this is a super complicated story, and its anything but. I never felt like I had a hard time concentrating, in fact I had such a fun time reading Must Love Dukes. It does start out with these two sharing facts and history about each other, while not giving out the full truth of each others identities and end up sharing a bed together. Then the plot thickens just a touch when Devon blackmails Lily. The way he goes about blackmailing her is quite witty, and some of the things he makes her do is quite humorous and will have you laughing your seat off, because in the end they end up benefiting Lily. Toward the end of the story there is quite a conflict that rises up, and the reader will end up full of tension wondering how this couple will reach their HEA.

The Characters in this story were so fun to get to know. Devon is, well, I would marry him if I could LOL. The schemes he creates are so creative and full of original thinking. Devon is not your usual rake stereotype hero. There is quite a bit more to him than meets the eye. Devon has a close attachment to his mother and sister, and even though he is angry at Lily, he ends up assisting her in his silly like blackmail games. Lily was a very human like character. She definitely makes her share of mistakes, but she is also put in a horrible position. I did admire her backbone at times, but then there was other times I wished she stood up more to her brothers, and even Devon a bit more. You can see how stubborn she can be at times, and occasionally I wanted to shake her. At other times, my heart did go out to Lily, because out of a father and three brothers, only one brother seems to care for her at all, the other just want to sell her to the highest bidder. I did enjoy some of the side characters such as Devon's family, and Lily's brother (the nice one :).) My favorite was Devon's mom, she was so endearing and I loved the way she tries to get Devon and Lily together.

Overall a sexy regency romp that will give you barrels of laughs, and captivate your attention from the first page. A delightful telling of a tale of two people that are more than perfect for each other. A wonderful beginning to Michels debut series that is guaranteed to give you a good time!! FABULOUS!!!

Alicia Clarkson, is a lingerie designer, and has a shop set up. Gavin has been the Alpha for about four months, and ever since that fateful night he became the leader of the pack, he was attacked and his face scarred and disfigured. His plan is to make Alicia fall in love with him so that when she does see him for real, that her love for him will secure her and not abandon him like other women have done. The Loneliest Alpha is the first book in the MacKellan Alpha's series, and so far the only book in the series yet. It just came out about six months ago. This book was part of a group read through goodreads, and I am so glad this was the book of the month. I do love sweet shifter romances, but when you put a "Beauty and the Beast" theme into the mix, it only increases the enjoyment of the read! I was pulled into the story from the first few pages, and as this is the first time I had heard of this author, I was really amazed in her storytelling. I would recommend this author to anyone that is searching for a sexy shifter romance!! This story begins with the heroine being practically kidnapped to find out if she is the mate for Gavin. What a great way to start the day right?? Well she is strong willed and tries to escape, even though she is starting to have feelings for Gavin. Alicia is the "Beauty" of the story. She is beautiful and creative and fascinated Gavin even though Gavin thinks she will end up rejecting him. Gavin is such a wonderful tortured hero, I loved him instantly. My heart ached for him throughout the story, especially the beginning, when you see the conflicting emotions he puts out. Gavin has been rejected and used, and has certain trust issues. There were some fun scenes placed in the story, and I enjoyed how Alicia didn't back down and always seemed to be chasing him just trying to get a glimpse of his face and he kept running away.....too hilarious at times. Even though this story has plenty of steamy scenes, it also has quite a focus on the emotional intimacy between Gavin and Alicia, and that just made it all that much sweeter!! A Treat of a romance!!

This story was so intense and wildly passionate, and very emotionally driven at times. The Loneliest Alpha is a sweet romance with lots of steamy passion, a mouthwatering hero, plot full of mystery, and a story to make you weak in the knees!! WORTH EVERY MOMENT!!!

A fun and flirty regency romance is A Wedding In Springtime. This story is the first in her latest series "Marriage Mart". This is also the first chance I have had to read this author. I had very high hopes for this story, and while it was a fun and enjoyable tale, I did have a hard time fully getting into it. My mind kept wandering from the story and I had a hard time focusing on it, so it took me longer to read it than I thought it would. I did enjoy the story line, and there were some quirky and cute scenes that are bound to make the reader laugh. The dialogue is witty and engaging, and there is even a couple of other sub plots in the making here. i enjoyed seeing it all of the plots be connected to each other, and it was very easy to follow. It was fun seeing this couple together, and seeing the variety of unique twists in the plot that brings them together.

Overall a sweet romantic tale that is charming, a story full of vivid detail, unique characters, and a story to geve you a ball of fun!! DELIGHTFUL!!

He captured her lips with his own in a tender, possessive kiss. "Mine," his kiss said. "Mine. Forever." And she was. His. Forever.

I was able to receive this ARC through Netgalley and Forever publishing. Ever since I first read Season of Seduction I have been addicted to this author's storytelling. The Rogue's Proposal is the second in the series, and I was thrilled to be able to have a chance to read this one, especially after seeing all of the fantastic rating, and having now read it, I can see why so many have enjoyed it so much. The Rogue's proposal took me a bit longer to get read, since with the holiday, I have been busy with family, but I finally was able to finish it. The story begins with our hero Luke and our heroine, Emma meeting in a less than respectable inn both searching for the same man. A heated desire flares between them instantly. Emma is after revenge for a man who murdered her husband and took her fathers money, and she needs it returned to save her family from destitution. Luke is searching for his mother, who has been missing for months, and is following the latest lead. The first moment Luke sees Emma, he wants her with a desperation. Luke desires to teach her passion but believes himself to be the worst sort of man, and doesn't want to hurt her in that way. Emma is aching to be in Luke's arms, and before either one of them realize it, they are both swept away by a blinding passion and some dark secrets that could destroy everything.

I couldn't help but fall in love with The Rogue's Proposal. It definitely was a sensual read that will sweep the reader away into the passionate love story that is guaranteed to captivate you. In the beginning the story the characters are acting out a seduction of sorts with each other. They are working together, searching for the same man, but at the same time there is a powerful connection from their first meeting. The characters were fun and I enjoyed seeing Luke and a more personal side to him. From the first book, I always liked him, and he was probably one of my favorites of the siblings. But seeing him as the main character, my heart went out to him. He has had a tough time in his life, but the way Emma comes strolling into his life, and is able to teach him of love and gentleness- it ended up being a story of intrigue, adventure and a fierce passion that could heat the room. A Sensational romance that kept me on my toes, and a plot to keep you guessing, and a love story that will curl your body. The heat in the story is flaming, and I will warn you there is a bit of a Bondage element in it, but overall a fantastic read!!! This author keeps astounding me with her writing talent!! Bravo! TOP NOTCH ROMANCE!!

The Trouble With Princesses is the third in the Princess series by Tracy Anne Warren. Now I have been a fan of Warren for quite some time, ever since I read her Byrons of Braebournne series. This series has been so much fun reading, and I adored this latest addition. It was put in the category "impossible to put down" within a couple of chapters. I was completely drawn in from the beginning, and I definitely didn't mind at all. The story begins with Ariadne telling her latest plan, to find a lover. She is tired of the tedious life she is living and needs some excitement, well she is about to get some. Then the hero steps into the game, and at first Ariadne refuses him, but when one night he kisses with a passion she never imagined, she decides what can it hurt right? So they begin in lessons in passion. This story was fun and beyond thrilling. There is a bit of intrigue placed in the plot, that will put you at the edge quite a couple times. A romance that is tender and sweet, and dazzles the reader.

The characters in this story were fun and I had no issues with them at all. The hero in this story is Rupert, and boy he was sexy as sin!! I loved his confidence, his strong personality that reeked of command, and the way he puts himself out there for Ariadne. Definitely put him in the top of the "Swoon worthy" hero category. He was delectable and breathtaking and I wouldn't mind trading places with Ariadne. Now Ariadne was a perfect match for him. She isn't a weakling, and gives in easily. She is a fighter that is for sure, especially when it comes to what she wants. She is not afraid of playing with fire, and I loved her insistance on making her own way, and doesn't care about consequences kinda attitude. She seemed to me very easy to like and I was rooting for her all the way. The side characters were fun, and we see the two previous couples from the other books in the series, involved, which only made me want to re read the books again.

Overall a brilliant romance that captures you from the first moment you begin reading! A well done job for Warren, she delivers once again. A entertaining and wild ride of a romance with endearing characters, exciting driven plot, and a story to steal your heart! INTOXICATING!!

Raphael is a book I was able to obtain through ImaJinn books via Netgalley. After reading the last book in the series "Aden", I was fascinated by this authors style. I was curious why I had never heard of her before now. Well I am completely hooked. Raphael was a stunning paranormal romance that swept this reader off of her feet. A truly fantastically well written story that completely put a spell over me until I had finished. Raphael begins when someone close to Raphael ends up being kidnapped, and betrayed, he seeks retribution and Alexandra back safe and sound. Cyn, is a private investigator, and when she is approached by Raphael to find Alexandra for him, she does. Despite the danger surrounding Raphael and Cyn,a desire threatens to overcome them both until they can't think straight.

This story was pretty intense and I was definitely had the feeling of being on the edge from beginning to end in this one. Raphael is one of the most powerful vampire lords, and everyone is afraid of him, no one defies him until Cyn. Cyn is naturally afraid of Raphael especially in the beginning, but when their relationship turns from professional to more intimate, she starts to trust him more. It was very thrilling at times, to see these two interact with each other. There was quite a high level of intensity involved, and seriously, this was a impossible to be put down. There was so many twists and turns in the plot that leave the reader breathless in anticipation. There was quite a bit of action and suspense with a mix of mystery and intrigue to satisfy any reader thirsting for some hot action and not just the intimate kind.

The characters were super intense and there was quite a bit we learn about each of them in this title, and some things you still wonder about at the end. Raphael, is very Alpha Male, domineering and controlling and possessive, and a sex machine---you can't get any better right? He definitely knows exactly what he wants and isn't afraid to take what he wants. We learn quite a bit about his history and how he becomes a vampire, and his beginning in becoming who he is now currently. Cyn, is not your average heroine. She is content at times with who she is and where she is going. But you see that she is restless and not knowing where she exactly fits. She doesn't believe in marriage, since her parents divorced when she was very young. When she meets Raphael, she starts to believe in the HEA, but it isn't always guaranteed. Cyn is very strong and a fighter and I loved seeing her personality through the story. There is much more to her than meets the eye. A very complex character, but it was very stimulating getting to know these two characters as the story progressed.

Overall I have to say WELL DONE D.B. REYNOLDS!!! This author is definitely on my watch list. I can't believe I just recently discovered her. I love the way she has created this world of vampires, intrigue and danger. There is quite a level of complexity to her stories, and this one tops them. A fascinating tale of intense love, action packed plot and characters to die for. STIMULATING!!

Penny, has struggled trying to keep herself and her infant brother afloat. With her father dead, no one seems to trust her in her ability to be a shoemaker. Even though Penny is very talented and in the past couple years her father was alive, she was the one being the "real" shoemaker. Then out of the blue, a Constable arrives, saying that her business and home has been sold, and that she wasn't mentioned in her fathers will. She barely escapes with a few of her things and her brother, being left on the street when a gorgeous stranger swoops in to save the day. Samuel is a younger son, and is looking for something to give his life meaning. When he sees a damsel in distress, he can't help but go in to save the day. When he learns that her life has been turned upside down, he offers his assistance in getting down to the truth. As Samuel and Penny investigate and endeavor to reach the truth and get her home back, a flaming desire threatens to overwhelm them. Will Samuel and Penny be able to find a future together??

Wedded in Sin was a charming romance, and even though it is a regency romance, neither of the main characters are members of the Ton. Samuel is a gentleman, served in the military, and now is looking for a way to make his way through life on his own. Samuel was a interesting hero. Even though he enjoys pleasure and going his own path, he also craves a future. His character seemed very genuine and authentic, and it was fun seeing him interact with Penny and I do love a hero who is as caring as this one, but is still a bit of a rake. Penny was your average heroine, she was likable at times, and even though she did have a strong will, I felt like it didn't completely match up with her personality. I did think that she could have had a strong spine at times, but I did feel like she was a solid match for Samuel.

Overall a a fun and charming regency romance with a unique setting. Characters to bring a smile to your face, vivid details to draw you in, and a story to satisfy any romance craving you may have. ENDEARING ROMANCE!!

When The Duke Was Wicked is the first in the most latest series from Lorraine Heath. This series is somewhat connection to the Scoundrels of St. James series. The two main characters in this story were children of Frannie Darling and Jack Dodger. When I realized this, I was very excited to see how this would turn out and if we would see characters from that earlier series. Well let me just say I was fully satisfied in that certain aspect. The story begins with Grace showing up at Lovingdons with no notice, and he definitely isn't reading in the library. We see the strong spirit from Grace from the beginning of the story, and doesn't back down no matter how much Lovingdon growls and does the whole Alpha Male routine. Grace is looking to find a man to love, to accept her for who she is. From the beginning of the story you see that Grace is hiding a secret, one that even Lovingdon doesn't know. All through the story you wonder what it is, and what Lovingdon's reaction to it will be. I enjoyed seeing these two interact, especially in the beginning. I loved the scoundrel of a personality that is Lovingdon, and it was quite fun seeing Grace handle him.

The characters in this story are just as charming and endearing as ever!! I couldn't help become infatuated with them from the very beginning. Now first lets talk about Lovingdon--oh boy, was he delicious, I could gobble him all up. He definitely has the tortured male routine going on a bit, with a mix of rake and bad boy thrown in, definitely makes up for a exciting hero character. Grace is quite a favorite heroine of mine. I think the only thing I wish was better about her character, is having more trust in Lovingdon, considering they were childhood playmates. Grace has quite a bit of spine though, especially when you read this story, and gain a better appreciation for her as the heroine of the story. She does have backbone, and goes after what she wants, and is willing to fight tooth and nail for it. I loved seeing both of these characters develop more from beginning to end of the story, and their connection is beautiful and tender and powerfully passionate. Reading this has made me want to re read the Scoundrels of St James once again.

Overall When The Duke Was Wicked is a endearing romance that will set your blood rate at a higher level. A intriguing tale of romance, sacrifice, and witty dialogue that is bound to take your breath away!!! These characters will make you fall in love once again. COMPELLING!!
