Raeven is burning with the desire to get her revenge for her fiancee's death by Captain Cutlass a pirate she has been searching for. She finally finds him, and vows to kill him here and now. Only she never expects to be faced with such a opponet that makes her burn with desire, a passion she has never known. Raeven doesn't expect to feel the desire to kill him to weaken and her desire for him to strengthen. She see's a side to him, a part of him, that she knows she could never harm or maim or kill. Bastien has practically lived on the seas for many years, ever since he lost his family as a young boy. Now he is well known as Captain Cutlass, also known as a pirate. Bastien is out to find the man who murdered the man who raised him and taught him everything he knew. Who was more like a father to him, and now he is hunting him. He doesn't expect to find a woman thirsting for his blood, and it only makes him want her even more. He finds her irresistible and before he knows it he finds himself falling in love with her, and more than anything wants her in his life, but knows she would have to choose between her father and a pirate. Will their love be enough? Finally, I have gotten my hands on the final in the series, that I have just fallen in love with. There was so much that I liked about this story. After reading the first two, I was looking forward to reading Bastien's story. I just love a good pirate romance though, and this definitely won my heart over. Bastien, has made a life for himself as a pirate, but has slowly started trade. Currently he is on a road for revenge, but as his enemy eludes him, he starts to seduce Raeven, a woman who, we see, he starts to really care for. Raeven, is a fighter and has fiery spirit. Their first meeting, totally had my attention. She tries to kill him at first, which was very entertaining. I do love a good sword fight LOL. But it was even more fun seeing these two go at it, and see their story progress. There was a sense of fun and playfulness throughout the story. It definitely fit the bill for a swashbuckling adventure. There was sizzling romance, spirited adventure and enough danger to blow you out of the water. Such vivid portrayal of a intense love story that had me laughing one moment, and crying the next. There was such a display of emotion that was able to be felt by the reader, it could be very intense at times. But I do revel in a emotional provocative story that only warmed by heart. A story to be read by anyone who loves a good adventure with a perfect balance of sensuality and intrigue.
Joelle, has come to Lovell, Canada, a small town in the Rockies, to find her parents, whose plane crashed in the area years ago but they were never found. Joelle, made a promise to herself that no matter what she would find them so she goes to Lovell to find a guide since the one she originally hired skipped out on her. So when she first comes to Lovell, she bumps into, Luke, who stirs her blood like none other. Luke, is part of a race of werewolves, and has come down from his home in the mountains, to find a woman to warm his bed for the winter, and he picks Joelle, who is the first one to fight him on anything, and he becomes intrigued and drawn to her in a way that surprises himself, and he knows that he must have her, because she is his......I don't think I have ever read from this author until know, and since I just love shifter romances, this book just drew me and the cover is so incredibly sexy that I couldn't resist. I did enjoy the style of writing that Susan Krinard displays but its a bit more detailed and more intense and vivid, and I will admit there were moments throughout where I was totally drawn into it, however there were others where it was such a book to be content in. Overall it was a enjoyable story, one you read by the fire or out in the sunlight on a warm day, a story to be enjoyed but not one that will totally captivate you. Although I would recommend this author to anyone that is looking for an intense and enjoyable romance that will softly carry one away into the world Krinard creates.
Portia Cabot, once saved the life of Julian Kane, a vampire and one who has been searching for his soul, so that he can be mortal once more. Its been years since he has seen his family and Portia sister-in-law to his brother. So when he sees her coming for him in a gambling hell, all the emotion he once felt for her comes riding back like a ocean current and he knows he must protect her, especially against those that would just as soon kill her, a ex lover and a woman who has possession of his soul, a very ancient vampiress. Portia knows that despite the fact that they haven't heard from Julian in years, there is still much good in him, and her intent is to save him once more, with all the love she has always held for him.....
The Vampire Who Loved Me is the second in the Cabot series, and this is probably one of my favorite series by Teresa Medieros. This is a author that I have come to adore over the years of reading her books, and I fall in love with each and every one of her stories, and this is a re read and its been quite a while since I had read it, and I love historicals mixed with the paranormal (which can be hard to find at times) The Vampire Who Loved Me is a emotional and tender love story that will pull at your heartstrings with every page. Its such a story that even though filled with twists and turns, definitely a memorable story and a pure delight!!!
My Favorite Quote
"A lifetime won't be long enough to love you. I told you once before that whether I was a vampire or a man, I would love you for all eternity." He touched his lips to her brow. "My sweet...my darling...my angel...my bright eyes"

Carol's life changed when she was bitten, and her world changed forever. Now she feels like a prisoner, even though its only for her protection. Carol has been fighting the change for months, something no other wolf has done, due to her pysic abilities. But then she see's a dark stranger in her future, and her blood boils at the sight of him, Ryan McKinley, a Grey pack leader. Ryan, pack leader, has come to Carol for more than one reason, ever since he first laid his eyes on her, she fascinated him, even though he never believed in her psychic talents, she has never been far from his mind. When he comes to her with the purpose of a investigation, a fire grows steadily between them, binding them, and even though he knows its dangerous for him, he knows he could never forget Carol, or be willing to let her go!!!I have really enjoyed reading Terry Spear's books, and I found Wolf Fever to be an equally delicious read. Wolf Fever is the sixth in the series, and can be read as a stand alone, but I would recommend reading the previous book. Wolf Fever starts out in a way that only appeals to this reader from the first paragraph, with intensity and effect. As the story line progresses we see chemistry spark between them, but there is also danger and mystery mixed in with the story to keep the plot interesting and exciting at times, and there is definitely some steamy romance flaring up between Ryan and Carol that will only leave you wanting more. I also loved seeing Carol grow as part of the wolf pack and seeing her intimate relationship with Ryan blossom, into something beautiful and extraordinary. My favorite so far in this amazing series that will heat the blood and the senses.
Sophia Hathaway, flees her life in society and escapes frm what would be a loveless marriage. So she goes aboard the ship "Aphrodite" and gains passage from 'Gray (Benedict Grayson) who is the owner and his brother is the captain. Sopia is planning on being a governess and plans on having a life of her own. Now aboard the ship, with her sketchbook, she is in close proximity with the handsome rogue, Gray, whom tempts her with his tantalizing kissing. However there is a little hitch in this love story....Sophia has some secrets and ones that could destroy everything that Gray feels for her and she could lose everything that matters....
Surrender of a Siren is the Second in the Goddess Trilogy by Tessa Dare. Now I think I may have read works from this author, but I don't remember which ones, and when I saw this one and the blurb, I could hardly resist picking it up even though it I have had it for a few weeks now. Surrender of a Siren suprisingly kept me intrigued throughout the whole story, and I found myself enthralled by the characters and thoroghly charmed. I found myself almost falling in love just as these characters were, the details so vivid. A Delight!!!

He released her just as quickly, but a lilt of the rowboat pitched Sophia back into his arms.
"Steady there," he murmured through a small smile. "I have you" Never in her life had she felt so acutely aware. Sophia felt that delicious, enticing heat, burn through every layer of her clothing-igniting desire in her belly.

The Princess and The Peer is the first in the most recent series by Tracy Anne Warren. I have just fallen in love with every one of her books that I have been able to read. She has a unique way of making a story come so vividly alive. I really enjoyed the entertaining characters that just made you want to join in, through the laughter and the tears, there is such a endearing quality to the plot that it keeps the reader engaged until the very end. I really loved seeing how Nick and Emma start to fall in love. Nick from the start is strongly attracted to Emma, but at first treats her as a friend, and after some fun scenes, we see the first romantic spark which turns into a whirlwind of a romance that will take your breath away. A wonderfully portrayed story that will seduce you!!

He claimed her. There was no other word for it. His lips moved against hers with a heady power that left her reeling, turning her weak and instantly dizzy. Heat burst in wild ripples over her skin, alternating with a shivering chill that made her whole body quake.

Lord Jack Byron, is wild and scandalous at times, but when he loses a bet of a amount he can't afford, he agrees to marry the gamblers daughter, but he has to convince her to marry him and make her fall in love with him. Grace, upon meeting the handsome Jack Byron, is flattered that he would want to be with her over how many other beautiful women, when she has never considered herself beautiful, however she feels herself starting to fall in love with Jack. Jack, even though in the beginning this ruse was all about getting Grace to marry him, but he never though that he would find her everything he would desire in a wife, and knows he is starting to fall in love with her, hoping that when the truth comes out she will still realize how much his feelings for her are sincere...Seduced By His Touch is the second installment in the Byrons of Braebourne series. Even though I have read the books out of order, I have just loved this series....Its one of my favorite regency historical series. Seduced By His Touch at times were a emotional rollercoaster, and the characters were so vivid from the very beginning that you couldn't help but love them both, there was such a endearing quality, about Jack and Grace, who have led different lives, but there is such a powerful chemistry that develops between them, and a powerful love that will carry you away in the story. From the very beginning Tracy Anne Warren has seduced me in a way that she has done with each and every one of her books!!!
