Inner Harbor is the third installment in this great series the Chesepeake Bay Saga. Phillip Quinn, is a city boy, he works in the city during the week and then comes homes during weekends to assist his brothers in their booming business of building wood boats and ships. One weekend he meets a woman who stirs things up, and leaves him aching for me. Not just for her body, but to know her personally. As he endeavors to do so, he knows he is falling hard and fast for this smart intelligent and yes a city woman, but there are secrets about her that may destroy everything including his feelings for her. But will those secrets tear their family apart including the young boy whom they have let into their home and their hearts.

I will be honesty, this is by far my favorite of the saga so far. Inner Harbor brought out the strongest emotions from me as I was reading it, and I will say that there was a tear or two shed while reading it, with due cause of course. Phillip Quinn has made a great life for himself, after being adopted and brought into the Quinn family, he wanted to have a career and a life of his own. Now he also has to put some plans on hold, for the sake of a young boy who needs these three brothers more than they would ever come to realize. When he meets Sybill, whom has traveled all over studying people and the way they act, he takes her on adventures which she has never experienced, helping her to feel emotions she would never let herself feel. Sybill, being sister to Seth's mother, has come to discover what life Seth has here, and to discover if he is happy. Sybill has always loved Seth, but his mother has hurt her, and she feels safer in the cacoon she has built around her heart. But when she starts to get to know Seth once more, she realizes how happy he is with the Quinn, knowing that if the truth ever comes out, that the Quinns will come to despise her especially Seth, the one person she has come to help at all costs. Through certain events, both Phillip and Sybill come to realize that even though their love and feelings are fresh, they are strong, and strong enough to survive any challenge that is ahead of them. It truly was more of a emotional story, and I just loved that aspect of this story especially. The plot and characters comes alive for the reader, so riveting and the feelings and emotions between the characters, definitely a engaging story for the reader, and one that everyone that loves a good story and especially a good romance will come to appreciate Roberts writing, especially among this series.

Rising Tides is the second installment in the Chesapeake Bay Saga, where we begin with Ethan's story. Ethan like his brothers came into the Quinn family with a difficult past that with the help of Ray and Stella Quinn was able to overcome and make a good life out of himself. Ethan has always had a secret desire for one woman, that has held his heart for many years, Grace. Grace, having to bear the responsibility of being a single mother to her beloved daughter, whom she sacrifces much for. Having been divorced, and enstranged from her father, times are tough on grace and wearing her thin. When she goes to work as a house cleaner for the Quinns, she is faced frequently with Ethan, whom she has always been strongly attracted to ever since she was young. As she struggles with trying to raise her daughter on her own, and stay independent, things heat up between Grace and the middle Quinn brother. As these two souls come together, and find a precious love they never expected to find, they also find a child, Seth, who needs love and guidance as Ethan bonds with him and finds that he and Seth have more in common than either of them realize, that will make them stronger to face a danger on the horizon, that could disrupt the fragile trust that Seth has built up on the Chesepeake Bay.

I just loved Ethan and Grace's story, in Rising Tides, we see a romance blossom (finally) between Grace and Ethan whom both are lost in their own way, but find it in each others love. Grace, although circumstances should have left her broken, only have given her a inner strength, to raise her daughter on her own financially and emotionally. When things start to heat up between her and Ethan, she discovers that she has loved him much longer than she ever realized. She yearns to make him see that their love that they have found, will only strengthen them not destroy them. Ethan, having a difficult time in overcoming his past, realizes that he has fallen in love with Grace, but knows that he can never marry her and give her what she deserves. He doesn't want his past to taint her and her future, but he will find that she will meet him with full on stubborness and fight like hell to give him hope and trust in their love to overcome any challenge no matter the difficulty involved. This was definitely a great book, and I loved it just as much as the first one. I admired both of these characters, they both have experienced pain and suffering, but they also find a way to rise above it. As we see a love grow between them, I found myself on their side, hoping that both of them would see reason, and learn to trust in their feelings for each other, which give them a strength they never expected to find within themselves. I also loved the bond that grows between them and the boy who has come into their home, who needs healing and laughter and love more than anything. I could see how much Seth grows just from these two books so far. It was truly a delightful adventure to discover in this saga.

When Cameron hears that his father, is on his deathbed, he rushes home in Maryland. Cameron, having been adopted by Raymond and Stella Quinn, whom found him a young boy, lost and alone, coming from a terrible situation. They loved him and his two brothers they brought into their home, Ethan and Phillip. When Cameron rushes home after traveling the world doing boat races, he finds that becoming a guardian to a young boy Seth, is far more challenging than he ever suspected. After the loss of his father, he and his brothers must take him in and keep their word to their father, to protect him as they were protected and taken in. There is a twist to this story, where Cameron is faced with Seth's social worker, who is sexy and he knows that things are about to get more complicated than he ever thought. Anna, after being given Seth's case, is very intrigued of the aspect of three grown single men willing to raise a young boy, when they have their own lives. However the one that she is faced with and that attracts her is the handsome yet reckless Cameron. As she spends time with Cameron and the young boy Seth, she starts to realize that there is something vital that is happening between her and Cameron, that she can no longer deny to herself, where she finds a love and a family she never expected to find.

I have read Sea Swept but it was a long time ago, and so I thought that I would try reading this series again, especially since I loved it so much. And I am so glad that I did, I just loved Cameron's story. We have two characters that have strong personalities and they certainly do clash frequently. Anna intent for Seth is to make sure he finds a good home, and the more time she spends with him and the Quinns she comes to realize that he is making himself at home on the Chesepeake Bay, that it would be more healing for him to stay then to leave. There is also a threat on the horizon that will involve the whole family, which will take Anna and Cameron working together, but what neither one of them expects is to fall in love with one another. Its definitely one of my favorite books so far to read by Nora Roberts, I love the whole scenario with them having to raise this young boy who came from a horrific living situation and where they learn that love truly can be a healing balm. It has a strong plot, well connected characters and a very emotional side to the romance side of the story, that was a delightful and thrilling to read.

This is the first of the "Bride Quartet" and having heard so many good things about this one, I definitely was thrilled to start reading this one. I love weddings and I just have fallen in love with this series. I couldn't put this one down, Nora Roberts is a good author. Although I have never been so enthralled into a story as I was in this one. I loved how even though Mac and Carter are so different, they also have lots of common ground as well. Another thing that I truly loved how this series is a quartet of four best friends that grew up together, and had a common interest :Weddings. Their passion and love! It was great to see these four women interact, and this story definitely amused and delighted me for the whole story. This is one of my favorite Contemporary romances ever written, it has such a classic love that is built up between these two charming characters. Its definitely one of those romances that will steal into your heart and soul, and make your day a bit brighter!

Ride The Fire was filled with one adventure after another. I had such a fun time reading this one. This was the first book to read by this author, and I just fell in love from the first page. From the heroine tying up the hero...to them journeying together to escape dangerous indians who intent on killing them, and we see a tremendous change from Nicholas who is a renegade and cold inside, turns into a passionate and protective man and a tender love story where two people heal each other through the love they feel. A truly impressive story, one that will have you turning the pages as quickly as you can read them!

As I was browsing the library shelves I cam across this book, and the cover is what drew me (of course, I can't resist such a cover) and when I read the blurb I just knew I had to try this book out and see if I had just found a new author to love or to never read from again...and I definitely found a author whose writing I enjoyed reading. Even though there was definitely a major focus on the relationship between Stephen and Fancy...there was also a suspenseful note to it as well....that especially toward the end of the story I was on the edge of my seat until the very end.....although I did enjoy this read very much there were a couple of things that left me disappointed but overall a enjoyable read...

When I first looked at the cover of this book, I knew that I would want to read it. I love historical romances involving nautical scenes, filled with romance and adventure. I wasn't disappointed with this, and it was one adventure after another. I never got bored, not one bit. This being the first I have read anything from this author, and having never heard of her, I was a bit nervous when I started, but as I got into it, I started to relax and let myself be drawn into the compelling story. Eros is a captivating, handsome yet deal with a inner torment of his past. He knows how to survive, despite all those that are out for his head. He finds himself drawn to the beauty Alanis, and learning the meaning of trust and true love. Alanis is a courageous, witty young woman, who really just wants to travel the world. When she meets Eros, she is drawn to him, not knowing why. He has a jeckyll/hyde personatilty. There are times when he is tender to her, and other when he is furiated with her. I really fell in love with Alanis because she stands up to Eros, she challenges him constantly, and she also finds herself falling in love with him. Both these characters are definitely too different, but somehow they connect and learn to trust 100% in one another, surrounding them is danger at every time, but also a love that strengthens. I loved how well its emotionally portrayed, I felt so drawn in by the story and the way that the author writes, there were times where it felt so real. There were a couple times in the book that it didn't flow as well as the rest, but apart from that it was a very enjoyable read.

Love Me Forever starts out with Stella Schwartz a single mother, and stretched thin in order to provide for her young son. Living in her mothers house, in a dangerous area, Stella wishes they could move to a better environment, especially for her son. But she has no way at the moment. Close to Halloween, she takes her son shopping to a store for a costume, and the clerk is a handsome rogue, who is enticing, and starts to slowly court her, never knowing that he is a vampire. Justin Corvus, is a vampire and has been for centuries. Justin has fed from countless women and has bedded many as well, however he is entranced by Stella. For she is somewhat different, her scent beckons him to feast. However, he doubts that would be the best course of action. But when certain events occur, that will change the course of both their lives, they will both be tested as will their love that they hold for one another.

Love Me Forever is the first that I have read from this author, and I am so grateful I got this opportunity. Rosemary Laurey is one of my current favorite paranormal authors, especially in the Vampire Genre. This book came to me in E Book Format, and it did take me some time to read it, as I haven't managed to get my hands on a Kindle, so I had to read from my computer. However despite the form I read it from, it was a sexy read. Justin Corvus although a vampire, is very old, and after seeing his best friend find happiness with a woman who once was a mortal, he craves to find such a love as well. When he meets Stella he never would have expected how much this woman and her son would change his life, Forever! This was such a fun and sassy read, and I am so glad that I got a hold of this one. As far as vampire romances, this one is at the top of my list, with Kerrelyn Sparks and Lynsay Sands, Rosemary Laurey is a riveting author, that portrays the plot and draws the reader in, where you can hardly put it down. So if you love the paranormal romance genre than this one is definitely for you, and I guarantee you will fall in love with this author as I have.
