Wild Rain is the second in the Leopard series, and one that once I had finished felt deeply satisfied. I It is my favorite among the series so far, it was a intense but tender love story between two people that find themselves drawn into a suspenseful plot that will send them both fighting for their lives.
Rachel Lospostos, is a young woman where life has been unjustly cruel to her, and those that she has come to care for. Rachael's parents were killed when she was young, and she and her brother were left with their cold-blooded uncle. Her uncle forced her brother to do horrific actions at the threat of her life. Elijah (Rachael's Brother) then kills a friend of hers, in front of her, although Rachael hadn't realized it at the moment, that friend was planning on killing her, for he worked for her uncle. Elijah, however never told her the truth, and after the incident, Rachael stages her death, and created a new identity, hoping to flee from a assassin that hunts her. Thousands of miles from home, away from all that she knows, she heads into a rain forest, with threats out there unknown to her. She assumed Elijah is the one that has sent men after her to kill her. She aches for her brother, knowing all that he had done in the past, was for her. She loves him all the same, knowing what he has turned into. On a journey with a group of people being guided through the forest by Kim Pang, who has great knowledge of the area. They are then ambushed by a group of bandits, Rachael barely escapes with her life in the river. She then finds herself sanctuary. Rio is of the Leopard species, where he can turn from being human to leopard in a moment. He has been shunned from his people from a previous error in his past. He lives alone, apart from two leopards whom he found abandoned and as babies. He cares for them, and even though Leopards are solitary creatures, they continually stay with him. Rio is part of a group of Leopard shifters, who undergo missions where they rescue humans and bring them to safety among the rain forest, since there are many dangers to be found there. As he drifts toward his home, he senses a stranger within its realms, and goes on high alert fully intending to destroy whoever has laid a trap for him. Rachael finds herself being attacked within the old hut that she has found sanctuary, by none other than the mysterious and captivating Rio. After Rio realizes his mistake, and at first he never trust Rachael, but there is something about her that captures his attention. Rachael now badly injured, finds herself in the care of the one who attacked her. His name is Rio, and at first glance he seems dangerous and wild as the forest around them. But as time goes one, and he tends to her gently, she see's a side of him she would have never suspected. Rachael is drawn toward this mysterious creature, whom she seems to share a deep connection with. Rachael comes to the knowledge that Rio is a lot more than just a man, but there is a animal hidden beneath the human exterior. As Rachael past comes to haunt her, they are both faced with a bleak future of being on the run, although they have each other. Rachael is discovering something about herself, something that she has never felt before and is learning to adjust to a new life among the 'Wild Rain'.
I definitely enjoyed reading Rachael and Rio's captivating story, it seems to enthrall me to the point that I could hardly put this book down. The characters were portrayed so well, it was as if I was drawn into the rain forest myself among the trees, humidity, and the wild nature. I was taken on a wild adventure through the rain forest, where passion, instinct and a deep love abides. As Rachael starts to heal from her wounds, their passionate feelings for one another grow until they are both thrown into a climatic sensual ride. Even though there are many that hunt them both, they manage to stay alive and ahead of the hunters. A deep tender lover grows between both Rachael and Rio, that they are unable to resist. I found myself falling in love with Rachael and Rio, but for me both characters have had pasts that were Hell on Earth, and despite all the dangers that surround them, they end up finding a sensual heaven amidst it all. This is definitely one of my favorites from Christine Feehan's writings. Its filled with the perfect mixture of sensual passion, witty conversation, and a thrilling adventure that will knock your socks off!!

I decided since this is a little bit different than an anthology, but is a combination of one story with three mini stories within the one....a bit confusing I know, but if you have already read it, then you probably understand my reasoning perfectly. It starts out with the Earl of Briarly, who thinks he needs a wife more than anything, and asks his sister for help (very uncommon in regency romance) however despite how rare this happens, its definitely a delight and something rare to read. So his sister, decides to have a house party, and has list of people to invite. But as the party at their country home continues, Hugh will have to be careful to catch the lady most likely or she may be snatched up by another man before he can blink. I found this story a breath of fresh air, in the instance of how unusual the circumstances are. Usually in books like this its a seperate story for each author, however these three amazing authors have worked together to create a outstanding tri novel romance that endeared this reader even more. I loved the simplicity of the stories, the heated romances, and the fun and witty storyline that kept me turning the pages. A Pure Dish of Fun Historical Romance that will curl your toes!!!
Jenny, is a fortune teller, and has a sophisticated clientele. When one of her regular clients, Ned, comes to her to convince his cousin of her authenticity. Gareth is a man of science, and ever since he came into his title, he has had to bear the weight of his title and all the responsibilities. Ned is young and innocent enough to be taken advantage of. When he hears about "Madame Esmerelda" he plans to discredit her, because he knows she is deceiving his cousin. At first he challenge her, and she in return challenges him back, and he finds her spirited and lovely and finds her irresistable and can't wait to get her into his bed. However he doesn't plan on ever falling in love....especially with a woman that matches him in all the ways that matter.Proof By Seduction is the second in the series, and I now wonder why I haven't read more from this author before now. Milan has a very unique style of writing, one that instantly draws the reader instantly into the story. From the first sentance in the story I was hooked. I loved how from the first couple of pages, we see the first meeting of Gareth and Jenny. I have to say I found myself cracking up seeing them interact, it was like witnessing a sparring match, only verbally. I love the witty characteristics that played out throughout the story, and how you see these two people fall in love who may seem different in the beginning, are perfect for each other. I also loved the creativity of this author, and some of the scenes were definitely not commonplace. Overall a creatively written and fun story filled with endearing characters, engaging plot and intensely romantic that will make you shed a tear or two.

"I'm not an automaton"
The thoughts of her mouth against his snuffed what little guttering intellect remained to him. Her flesh seemed to sizzle beneath his fingertips. He lowered his head to her lips until her lips were a tantalizing inch from his.
"Most of all I'll be damned if I let you call me dispassionate"

Erick Sorensson knows that his firestorm is close, because he can feeling the burning need to find her. Erick once had a firestorm, and at first it had been going well, he had a son. But then his son turned slayer on him, and he thought he had lost his mate. Erick knows that feeling the firestorm after all of these years, means his mate has been reincarnated. At first he doesn't want to give into this whirlwind of sensations again. Especially after losing so much before, but Eileen is so different. She is passionate, full of life and courage, and fights for those she cares about. Eileen, lately has been having some strange dreams, of a man who is a dragon but who is also her lover. Then the dream man becomes real, and her dreams change, as if she is seeing into the life of another person. Eileen gets thrust into a world of danger and intrigue, where dragons are real and very dangerous, and her life is constantly in danger. What shocks her is that the one dragon that has become her shadow, is her mate, and shows her passion and finding true love when you least expect it.
Kiss of Fate is the third in the series. After reading the majority of the series so far, I was feeling antsy wanting to read Erick's story. Erick is just "Sigh"....so seductively sexy, and is one of my all time heroes. He is very protective, enough alpha in him to satisfy any woman, but not too much to drive a woman nuts. I found him to be 'delectable' at times. Eileen was such a fun character to read. Even though a bit predictable, I enjoyed the little surprises here and there, and I just truly enjoyed seeing what inner strength and character she had. Even though there were times that their story was a bit on the predictable side, but I loved the flair and the suspense that kept the story rolling and keeps the reader engaged. There was also a few side stories that I found just thrilling to read. I really liked the chemistry between Erick and Eileen, but I also enjoyed the love story that is so enthralling...it did bring a few tears to my eyes. But at other times I was just laughing with the witty rapatoire that this author displays throughout the story. I found Kiss of Fate to be a lovely addition to the story, and top of the list of favorites for me. A truly compelling read that will capture the heart of every reader who enjoys a captivating romance, thrilling plot, and sexy characters.

It made Eileen feel powerful that she could incite desire in this man who such capabilities, who had lived so long and undoubtedly seen so many women. She was glad that he saw no need to change her, just accepted her as she was. Wanted her as she was. She liked that he was tough but vulnerable, and that he trusted her enough to let her glimpse his old wounds. She appreciated that he still gave her the choice, that he didn't just take what he wanted.
It means that she would give him more.

Niall is determined to destroy his twin brother and the rest of the shadow dragons who threaten everything they hold dear. But he is also in charge of training a new Pyr, who even though has lived quite a long time, has no talent whatsoever and has no idea how he has survived so long. But through him meets his firestorm, who already knows about the Pyr. Rox, has forgotten her past and has built a life for herself. She is a tattoo artist, and a very talented one at that. When she meets Niall, there is a sizzling chemistry between them, and before she realizes it she is drawn into Niall's world. A world full of excitement, intrigue and danger. A danger that could destroy both herself and Niall and the rest of the Pyr...Whisper Kiss is the fifth installment in the series, and I just keep falling in love with each and every one of these books that I have been able to read. I thought that Whisper Kiss has a level of its own uniqueness, I really enjoyed seeing the interaction between Niall and Rox. Rox I fell in love with immediately, (even though I am not the biggest fan of tattoo's) I really loved her attitude and how she sets Niall straight on some things. She has got fire and spirit and is a very endearing character. Niall is just sexy, plain and simple. One can't help but fall in love with a man who is so willing to fight for those he loves. Overall a fun and irresistable read that will romance you from beginning to end.
Delaney, as we have seen in previous books, is a Pyr, only has been partly corrupted by 'Magnus', the head of the slayers, who forced him to drink a certain elixir, that has caused him to wage a war within himself. A war that he is still fighting himself, and after almost harming his brothers family, he is determined to find a way to win this inner battle. On his way to accomplish his mission, he comes across his firestorm, who makes him feel more like himself than ever before. He also knows he doesn't have a lot of time, and that his mission could very well mean his death. However he underestimates Ginger, who is a fighter and is willing to do whatever it takes to show him the true power of the "Firestorm" and by working together they can defeat Magnus.
Winter Kiss was such a fun and exciting story. I just fell in love with Ginger from the very beginning, she had spunk and attitude and I loved it!! Delaney, at times I didn't like especially in the beginning, where he basically finds his firestorm and just plans on sating it and leaving her pregnant and alone. That part I didn't like but as the story plays out, you start to like him more and more. From previous books we see the struggle that Delaney has gone through, so I truly loved reading his story, and I thought Ginger was just perfect for him. Winter Kiss is a truly fantastic story that will steal your heart, a tale of love and adventure, and that anything worthwhile is worth fighting for.

However there is Sara's true fate, one that he knows he must fully embraced the life he has tried to hide away from, so that he may be able to share his life with the one person he loves and intends to keep....Forever.
Kiss Of Fire is the first in the series, and I have found a new series that I have fallen in love with. After reading Kiss of Fury, I knew I had to read the first book, and I am so glad I was able to. Kiss Of Fire, was just as enticing as Kiss Of Fury. I really liked seeing the romance that develops between Quinn and Sara. There was something very precious about the way this story is written. I really enjoyed how the author creates a world of dragons, both good and evil dragons, and we see the makings of a war between the two, and meanwhile a development of a romance. I really enjoyed the way the author made the story flow so well, and her descriptions of the world that she creates. There is such a sense of magic and mystery about this series, and I truly enjoyed the unique quality of this story, and the way the author draws the reader in. A Well executed story filled with romance, passion, adventure, fun characters, and exciting plot....A Brilliant read!!!!!

Alex, has worked very hard to make the "Green Machine" happen, but then one tragic night, her lab is destroyed, and her partner tortured and then killed. She finds herself in the hospital, having dreams of Dragons, and then she finds herself being kidnapped by a breathtakingly handsome man where sparks happen whenever they touch. When she learns that he is a Dragon Shapeshifter, she is shocked, and can't believe that such things are real. Alex is stubborn and is desperate to make the Green Machine become public known, but only with the help of Pyr, will she be able to make her dreams come true....and to hold onto a man who has stolen her heart....I was looking for something new and different, a author I hadn't read before, and I came across Deborah Cooke. I have a weakness for dragon shifter romances, so I knew when I read the blurb, I had to try it out. I have found a new favorite author. I just loved everything about this book, although I thought Alex could be too stubborn for her own good, and kind of an idiot thinking she can protect herself against dragons. But I really enjoyed the blossoming romance that develops between Donovan and Alex. There was a unique quality about the plot and the way this author weaves a beautiful story of adventure, passion, and love. I really loved Donovan, he seems so like a man of steel, but I just loved seeing how he weakens toward Alex and the way he treats her is so precious. I also enjoyed getting to know the other Pyr members, and I can't wait to read more books from this author. A WINNER!!!

She is independent and stirs up his blood like none other, and is determined to take her and make her his. Honora has worked hard all of her life, to captain a vessel, but then when she is taken captive by a Viking, Dagr, she knows she is in deep trouble, for he stirs up a passion that she has never known. When she learns what has happened to Dagr and his people, she decides to search for the truth along side him, hoping that the love and passion she feels for him will be enough so that they will both survive the danger that lays ahead.
Ravished By A Viking is written by Delilah Devlin, who is one of my favorite erotica authors. I don't read much Erotica books, but when I was at the store, I just fell in love with the cover and blurb, and I couldn't resist buying it, and it was well worth it. I find Viking romances thoroughly addicting, and if your looking for a hot and passionate book that has a plot that will curl your toes with danger and intrigue than Ravished By A Viking is definitely a book you shouldn't miss out on. Although I thought there were a couple scenes in the book, that I don't feel comfortable with, overall it was a thrilling ride. I am definitely looking forward to reading more from this author, I found every chapter a delight, and every sensual scene so thoroughly enticing....definitely a winner for me... I FELL IN LOVE!!! So if your into Erotic romances than this is a treasure....
