"I was trapped in a palace with a horned man who had told everyone I was basically his bed toy."

2/5 🌶
___

She's captured by her enemy in a foreign court with even more enemies. She has to pretend they're something else and they're more entwined than she's aware of.
___

This book is the sequel to Queen of Roses and I enjoyed it much more than the first.

The pace was faster, way better and I really didn't expect the storyline.

Morgan has grown so much, I loved seeing that. How she stands up for herself but is always full of love for everyone else.
Draven is a horned man who grew on me. He would do anything to keep Morgan safe. If you want your heart to melt, he's your man.

I enjoyed their dynamic and connection as it developed and became something beautiful.

I definitely recommend this series after reading Court of Claws and can't wait for the last book, because this cliffhanger was so heartbreaking.

"Show me that helfyre tonight, little goddess. But more importantly, show them."

3/5 🌶️

Aheia flees her home, her dark life and she runs straight into Arioch's arms. She must pay a high price for her asylum, and perhaps she's not as safe as she thought.
___

I don't even know where to begin, because I'm afraid of giving too much away.
This was a whole new world to me. It's incredible and you have to experience it for yourself.

The writing style and world building were great. I don't even have words for it.
I'm not gonna lie, it took me a good minute to come along. It was a lot, but once I was in, I was in!
This world engulfed me with my entire being.

There are a lot of my favorite tropes, but somehow they're very different from anything I know. I can't tell you how much I enjoyed that.

Aheia is a strong FMC who's not afraid to show her weakness. I was enchanted by her.
Arioch is an incredibly awesome villain and such a hot shadow daddy! The "touch her and die" trope here? Ugh, I'm swooning. Well, actually it's "speak badly about her and die". Literally.

It's hard to describe it further because I really recommend going in completely blind!

Just know that I loved it, devoured it, and can't wait for Honey to be released!

3.25/5 🌶 (only with Jules)

I can't describe how much I loved this book! I literally devoured it in one sitting.

This book was way darker than  I expected, but that was totally justified.

My heart broke in so many ways with Bodhi's. I love Jules for the fact that he never gave up on him. He was his rock when he needed it most.

The way this story describes depression and other mental health issues was so accurate and relatable.

Maybe I love this book so much because I felt the pain Bodhi felt a little bit extra because I'm also part of the semicolon team.

Well, nevertheless it's a big story with the loveliest characters and so much healing, my heart might burst.

You have to read it!

"And there is no one I would rather laugh with, fight with, or love than you. You make me want to be a better man."

2/5 🌶

When I tell you that I'm a complete sucker for this series, I mean that. I love all the smalltown vibes.

The whole family dynamic and siblings group chat? Exquisite.

So I wasn't surprised to fall for Lincoln and Brinkley right away. Their banter was delicious and the way their relationship changed was just great.

Lincoln is a big man, but soft on the inside. He supported every decision Brinkley made for herself and never expected anything from her just to please himself.

Brinkley is a great FMC. I adored the way she chose herself without being selfish or hurting Lincoln.

Their relationship was so wholesome, I loved every minute of this book!
