So it took me a while to carry on with this series, only a year. It took me a little to figure out what happened in book one but then everything clicked after the first couple of chapters. I love a book where the guy falls first and so hard when he is someone that has never loved before. West Golden is a great book boyfriend that I will happily add to my list. 

 

So we learn the big secret between Casey and West in this book and wow I understand now why they don’t want people knowing. The ending of this book gave me the creeps because Vin Golden gives me the ick. I gave this book 4.5 ⭐️ and 2 🌶️. 

 

I recommend this series. I can not remember why I put the series on hold but it is worth picking up and finishing.

Another great Tijan book we get some Fallen Crest characters we remember and love. I felt like this book was kind of different to the ones I have read by the author but I still loved it. Can I say the club name Ghost was perfect for Shane and I love the hockey mask was unexpected but hot. 

 

There is a lot of back and forth between the characters but they have history that went on hold for years till they were ready. I gave this book 4.5 ⭐️ and 2 🌶️ the way he would not be with her till she was ready was 🥵 and I loved Shane by the end of this book. 

 

If you have not read anything by this author I highly recommend it. She is one of my favourite authors.

Another good find on audible as I have been wanting to read books by this author this was a great start. It was a beautiful story of a woman who is learning to love again after losing her husband. Poppy’s story is heart warming and made me tear up in moments the things she must have felt. 

In walks the man she least expected to piece her heart back together Cole is the perfect person for Poppy and I love the sow burn aspect of their relationship. I gave this book 4.25 ⭐️ and 2 🌶️ the buildup was perfect in this and then when she finally said yes they don’t stop. Also this book made me constantly hungry because all her food sounds delicious. 

If you have not read this book or anything by Denvey Perry I recommend this as a good start. I also will continue as I am not sure what happens with Finn and Molly.

Another book picked out of the audible pile and I have quickly realized I enjoy Melanie Moreland books. They are not master pieces but they do make you think and sometimes cry. I enjoyed the audio for this book because who doesn't enjoy Aiden Snow and Maxine Mitchell narrating. This book makes you think what are we doing for other and not ourselves. 

 

The MMC in this book was that silent partner that will just let you do what you need but encourage you along th way and when shit hits the fan they will stand in the way of what is causing you pain. Montgomery Logan is a great MMC I enjoyed his character plus he can sing and writes songs or her. I gave this book 4 ⭐️ and 2 🌶️ the scene after his concert love a guy that has so much adrenaline it has to be released somewhere 🥵.

So I have an A-Z list and get my husband to pick a number between 1-26 from a jar. I have put this on hold because I was reading so many series recently but I decided why not try and get through this so he picked J and this is what I had. I remember finding it difficult to find a book with a J so when I found this I thought it was perfect. I did not expect to be kicking my feet laughing and giggling late in the night. I'm really glad I added it to my list. 

 

The beginning of this book was perfect. It has lots of banter and you learn so much about the characters then the tension is building. This is very much a slow burn but somewhere around the 60% mark the tension kinda dropped for me. I still enjoyed it but there was something missing. I gave this book 4.5 ⭐️ and 2.5 🌶️ this man has a dirty mouth and I was here for it. 

 

I am not sure I will continue with the series as there is a lot and I want to finish my a-z before the end of the year 🤞. However, I think I will look at other book by this author in the future.

I was not expecting to like this book to much when I saw the age gap I was a little aprehensive. The story of Lucky and Skylar is more than a love story with an age gap it is about a girl who is struggling with her mental health and eating disorder when a man 16 years older takes her to the hospital they become friends and he gives her an opportunity to turn her life around. 

The push and pull of these characters were great one minute they were all in and the next someone says they should not be together. I was so happy with the ending of this book and it makes me want to read more by this author. I gave this book 4.25 ⭐️ and 2.5 🌶️ it is definitely worth the read and the tension makes it so much better.

Another great book by Ivy this is a little different to her previous books but still fantastic. I love a grumpy MMC and Dean was the best. I also enjoy a good hockey romance and Ice Me Baby did not disappoint. I would say this is more a slow burn than I was expecting and I go fereal for them so I really enjoyed the tension that was building.

This book had the right amount of plot to spice ratio. I gave this book 5 ⭐️ and 2 🌶️ that slow burn did kill me because the tension was a lot luckily they had some kisses before but when they go to the cabin it was perfect. Please make sure you check triggers as there is some on page abuse. 

If you have not read a book by Ivy Cole I highly recommend it. I have loved all the stories she has written so far and she has many more to come.

I picked up another free book and because I was on a long drive that had me stuck in a dead area for an hour this was the only book that was downloaded. I started it and at the beginning I thought this could be fun. Usually I don’t enjoy the vet/doctor trope so I had to brush past that a little. I felt the story was too predictable, I called the twist within the first 5 chapters. Also I was not a fan of the narrators but that could be just me. 

 

So this story was not for me. I wanted to enjoy it and at some points I was laughing at what Polly was saying but that was it. I gave this book 3 ⭐️ and 1 🌶️ even though there was some spice it felt weird again that may be the narrators or me. 

 

This is my opinion if you want to give this author a try other people have enjoyed this book so you might too.

Another fun audible read when the FMC goes to a private party she has the best night of her life with a stranger until she finds out the stranger is her boss. The FMC is focussed on her career and falling for the boss was going to put a hitch in her plans. 

 

This was a fluffy romance the third act breakup wasn’t really a breakup it was something they could have fixed easily and they do. I gave this book 3.75 ⭐️ and 2 🌶️ because the party was 🥵 but other than that it was a quick read. 

 

This is the first book I have read by this author and I am not sure whether I will read more by her. If you like office romance and single dad trope this would be the right book for you.

Another book from audible I picked this one because someone I follow gave it a good review. I did actually enjoy this. It was another billionaire romance but this was a marriage of convenience as the MMC needed to impress his new employer. With these books we know how it will end but I enjoyed watching them fall. 

 

Although this was mainly about impressing the new boss the FMC had a reason why she took his offer and he realized that he was not a good person to her. The one thing I have to say is I was not a fan of the narrators but the book was fantastic so i glassed over that. I gave this book 4.25 ⭐️ and 1.5 🌶️ since it was more of a slow burn it was not as spicy as book I have read before.
