I picked up this arc randomly because I loved the fact the author mentioned it had halloweentown and Gilmore girls vibes and I love them both. I enjoyed the book however I am not a big fan of friends to lovers it is one of my least favourite tropes. Usually I would say no but this one intrigued me and I am glad I stayed to finish it. I can’t wait for the next book as I feel that one will have the tropes I love. 

There are some things that I love about this book, one being there was no third act breakup and it meant the actual story was told. I also love the premise around the town very much like halloweentown where all the paranormal’s live in one spot. I gave this book 4 ⭐️ and 2 🌶️. As I have said, not a fan of friends to lovers but I did like the dynamic between Jamie and Raegan. 

If you love a small town paranormal book with Gilmore girls and Halloweentown vibes this is the book for you.

Another great audiobook I got for free on audible. There were some funny moments in the book that had me giggling and also some moments that made me tear up. This book was a slow burn. I was not expecting it to be slow but it was definitely worth the tension.

There is also an added bonus of a grumpy/sunshine personality between the main characters. I loved the added characters, the grandmother trying to set up her grandson made me laugh. I gave this book 4 ⭐️ and 2 🌶️ the tension between them was great. I believe these 2 were made for each other and if this was real I would join Iris and Charlotte to slap Reed’s ex because she did not deserve his love.

If you like a slow burn with grumpy/sunshine this would be a perfect read for you.

This is the final book in the Mount trilogy. I feel like there was a lot squished into this book to wrap it all up. Another twist in the middle of the book and we get some more details of Mount’s life before being the king to the empire. 

At one point I thought the author was going to pull a Lost and say it was all a dream, thankfully they did not. I enjoyed this series it was fast and had a good about of spice I gave this book 3.75 ⭐️ and 2 🌶️ the things this man says were 🥵.

If you like a mafia romance that is quick read this is perfect to help you reach you reading goal.

So that twist at the end of the last book was kind of unexpected but glad to see what came of it. This is the book where we see more of the relationship building before this was about the debt that was owed now it is more. Also another cliffhanger at the end of the book after everything was coming up roses for them.

Anothr great book in this trilogy I enjoyed the story and the spice but felt it was lacking at times. I gave this book 3.75 ⭐️ and 2.5 🌶️ because we love the boxes that Mount gives Keira and so does she.

Again if you like mafia romance this would be a great book for you it is light mafia but It is enjoyable.

Another book from my A-Z jar. I was lucky that I could listen to this one because it makes it a lot easier to get through my list faster. This was a good mafia romance that had a couple of twists in it, especially at the end of this book I did not see that one coming.

There were some moments in this book where I didn’t know what was going to happen next it overall it did keep me engaged I gave this 3.75 ⭐️ and 2.5 🌶️ Mount was something else entirely and I enjoyed every minute of it.

If you like a mafia romance with a lot of spice and a few twists this is the book for you.

The final book in the broken love series does not disappoint. There is another twist in the tale and we finally get some answers to who was behind everything they have been dealing with. Kieran’s growth throughout the series has been great the way he has been there for the rest of the people now it’s time for them to rally around him again. 

Lake had to find herself again in this book and it was hard to do that around Keiran but we all know he wont be kept from her for too long that man is obsessed with his woman. I gave this book 4 ⭐️ and 2.5 🌶️ because when Keiran is mad he makes it even better for Lake. 

 

This is the end of the series and everything gets wrapped up nicely other than still waiting on a Di, Jesse and Q book that would be awesome. I do recommend going into this series knowing there may be some triggers. This is a series I really did enjoy.

Well we have to continue the story because we need to know whether Willow and Dash will finally get their HEA. I think this book has one of the best journeys to the HEA. I was in shock and then finally it happened. I also liked seeing their relationship grow from the summer they spent together, it felt like a friendship before anything else.

Although most of this book Willow was going to do something she didn’t want to do and she went back and forth because of the way Keiran had changed. I feel like Kieran and Willow’s relationship was cemented in this book and I loved every part of it. I gave this book 4 ⭐️ and 2 🌶️ Dash knows how to treat his woman like a queen.

Dash is the moral compass of this group but the series is still dark and has to be read together so if you like dark romance this is for you.

This book takes place 4 years after the last book and follows Keenan and Sheldon. A lot has changed since the last book and a traumatic event brings them all back together to fix it. Although these 2 went their separate ways it turns out it is meant to be.

It turns out Keenan has become more like his brother in the time they have been apart but what hasn’t changed is his love for his childhood sweetheart although they have hurt each other this time they have a reason to fight for their love. I gave this book 4 ⭐️ and 2 🌶️ Keenan can be brutal when he is upset but also I am here for it.

If you like a dark romance then this is the right book for you make sure you start at the beginning though as this is a series where the plot intertwines between books.

This is the second book in the Broken Love Series it picks up after the first book where a lot went down with Keenan trying to survive and Kieran in jail again. This book answers so many questions about Kieran’s past that we all needed but also we get some answers about Lake’s parents disappearance. I thought the first book was dark but I felt like this one was even darker especially the added characters that are introduced.

Another great book in this dark series. I never expected to be so engrossed in this series, I finished these books in 3 days. I gave this book 4 ⭐️ and 2.75 🌶️ I am not sure I can explain the spice in this book but it is 🥵. The romance in this book is dark. Kieran is a possessive alpha hole and will stop at nothing to get Lake to submit to him. I have to admit Kieran became a little softer as the story progressed and I was here for it.

If you like a dark romance this may be the book/series for you the next book is following Keenan and Sheldon. I can not wait to see where the childhood sweetheart storyline leads me.

Another free book on audible and I picked this one because I loved Lilac by the same author. I feel like this was a little darker but the story pulled me in the back and forth between Kieran and Lake was so intense. 

 

The way Kieran keeps pushing his feelings for Lake away made me want to yell at him so many times. The romance is dark but the plot is even more intense. I gave this book 4 ⭐️ and 2.5 🌶️ again these scenes were 🥵 but also all consuming. I recommend if you have any triggers to check the content warnings because Kieran is a morally gray character. 

 

If you like a dark romance this may be the book/series for you as I continue this book to find out where the plot takes me.
