Again another series I had put on my TBR 3 years ago. I decided to put this on my A-Z list and glad I put this on my list.
I have to say I forgot that I like a bully romance but I know I love enemies to lovers. This book ends on a cliffhanger that gutted me. I was not expecting that. 

This book was great, gave us a mystery to follow and a kickass FMC or should I say a MMC (shh) I loved her character growth already. I gave this book 4.25 ⭐️ and .5 🌶️ there is no spice but some innuendos.

If you like a bully and enemies to lovers tropes this is the book for you.

I loved every minute of this book and I went in blind. The story of a forbidden love between the coach of the football team that she is following for her journalism class but on top of it is the dad of her new best friend. Tyler was a young dad so the age gap between him and McKenzie was 15 years. I loved the buildup of their relationship. They became friends before anything physical happened.

It was sad when I thought they were going to break up. I cried because they are meant to be and finally Kylie realized not letting them be together hurts 2 important people in your life. I would like a story for Kylie and Jake hopefully but I will be looking at other books by this author :). I gave this book 4.5 ⭐️ and 2.5 🌶️ the sneaking around was hot but that car scene was 🥵.

I highly recommend picking up this book. I loved forbidden/taboo romance before but I love it even more now.

The shadow man was not the story I was expecting with this book but I am glad we got it. We get to see behind his motives to help the team to take down the syndicate. One important reason is Lyla. Her story was heartbreaking, she made me cry when she was falling apart. Although I did enjoy this book it was not my favourite out of the series so far I think because of the ending.

Dainn did something so romantic I had to tell my husband. He got books, painting supplies, jewelry making kit and so many more things so that Lyla could find out what she likes since she never got to experience those things before. The part with her child made me gasp and then later when they say his name and realizing who she was knowing he is with her brother made me smile. I gave this book 4 ⭐️ and 1.75 🌶️ she was dealing with PTSD when it comes to her experience so there were few scenes but some good ones.

One more book after this one to wrap up the story and I highly recommend everyone to read it as I have throughly enjoyed this journey.

We get Alpha’s story. I was not expecting this liked his character in the previous book to finding out he is Dante’s brother was a shock but also everything is connected in their worlds. As I was reading about Zephyr and her sister Zen I knew that she was someone important. I thought Zephyr was the perfect person for Alpha she was his light in the dark and a new nickname was unlocked Rainbow is such a cute name for her.

I know this is going to spoil something but when she found out about Zen’s past then she was killed. It broke me, I am close with my sisters so I felt this pain. I loved the relationships in this book and throughout the series we get to see them all interact. I gave this book 4.25 ⭐️ and 3 🌶️ the scenes in his office while talking to his men was 🥵 and while watching a video of themselves wow.

Again I highly recommend this series please start with book 1 and work your way through because they all have key parts that play into the series.

Finally we get Dante’s and Amara’s story I loved hearing about their childhoods up until the end of the last book. These characters were great in the first 2 books and I didn’t realize they were together the entire time made me love their relationship more. The continuation of the series added another piece of the puzzle that we did not know we needed. 

I love the story of first love but also the trauma that Amara went through she is one of the strongest FMCs i have ever read. I also like the friendships in this book between Vin and Amara as well as Tristan and Dante and last Tristan and Amara. I gave this book 4.25 ⭐️ and 2 🌶️ with all the trauma she went through Dante treated Amara like the queen she was. 

 

I highly recommend that you start this series don’t just jump in here the story continues and is getting even more intriguing.

Well this started with a bang and I am not talking about the car that exploded. I am continuing my journey into the Dark Verse this book is the end to Tristan and Morana’s story but it was a perfect story there was some things that shocked me in this book. I loved the character development although it felt very instant they suddenly were in a committed relationship and she was calling him out for not communicating. I loved her comments about the wait they just slid right into a domestic partnership.

There is one part of this book that I highlighted and it explains the love I have for this character and how much he loves her.

“You might have been born with another name but you are Morana. My Morana. You’re the girl I killed for and you’re the woman I’d die for. You are mine and you are exactly where you’re supposed to be, Don’t ever question that again, do you understand?”

I loved this book so much and am excited to see if they can find Luna. I gave this book 4.5 ⭐️ and 2 🌶️ they are so passionate and I love the “have you ever been made love to Mr Caine?” Scene it was the perfect way to tell him and he has shown her numerous times that he loves her.

I highly recommend this series Tristan and Morana for life I love them both 💜.

This was on a whim that I picked up this copy from the author just because I liked the themes. I love a rockstar trope any day of the week. This book started slow then I hit 50% and I could not put it down I wanted to know how they would get past the third act breakup and when they did it was perfect there were moments that made me tear up for both broken souls and smile when they became one. 

 

This book also teased I believe all side characters finding love too. Definitely enemies to lovers for Isa and Colt and I am hoping a best friends sister for Levi and Sadie 🤞I think that would be great. Anyways back to Starstruck I loved Bax and Lennon they were destined to be together. I gave this book 4.25 ⭐️ and 2.25 🌶️ the exhibition kink trope was fantastic wow. Also I loved that it was based in Toronto as a Canadian who lived there for 5 years it was cool. 

 

If you like a rockstar romance with a little intrigue this is the book for you also this is by a debut author so please go and support the indie authors.

I am glad when I can read books that have been on my TBR for a long time. This one was almost a year and I added it to my a-z reading list. I can say I am glad that I did although I was not expecting this type of romance it is definitely worth the hype. The only thing that threw me off at the beginning was that it was in third person. After reading a lot of first person books it took me a little bit to get into it. That ending was an amazing enemies to lovers although the enemies were kinda loose he did want to kill her but we find out why and although not her fault it is understandable.

I loved the story building in this book and also the side characters Dante and Amara became a huge part of this book. The only thing about this book that frustrates me and I am not sure if it's just me but it is one of my bookish icks. I hate when the author constantly says the full name of a character. I get his name is Tristan Caine, it does not need to be said 3 times in a paragraph. Again, this may be a me thing but I got past  it and gave this book 4.25 ⭐️ and 2 🌶️ but hate s3x is the best kind plus that first time in the bathroom at the restaurant that was 🥵. Although, nothing can quite beat that kiss at the end of this book wow that's when everything changed for this couple.

If you have not started this series I highly recommend it if you like a romance with dark themes and mafia men who want to kill you but also can’t stop thinking about you this is perfect for you.

I decided to pick this up in between my audiobooks because it was available and I had it on my TBR for a while as I have read the other books in the same world. I loved the characters in this book Roc most of all he is hilarious with Hook made me giggle so much. The only thought I have was there was something missing and it wasn’t till I listened to a podcast reviewing this book that I realized what it was. I would have preferred to see the backstory for Wendy, Hook and Roc and where they started as we only got snippets in the Vicious Lost Boys series. Also forgot to mention it ends on a cliffhanger that I was not expecting either. 

 

Even though there was something missing did not stop me from enjoying this book I gave it 3.75 ⭐️ and 2 🌶️ although there is not as much spice compared to the previous series the stuff between Roc and Hook was 🥵. 

 

If you have not read the Vicious Lost Boys series I highly recommend it and this was a fast read to add to your reading goal at the end of the year.

Well I finally gave into peer pressure and decided to read this book I can say it was worth it. I listened to this on audible and I recommend this being the perfect way to read this book. There are parts in this book that made me laugh and others that made me feel for what they had to deal with.

I loved Josh he is protective but also funny. I also liked the side characters I can’t wait to see more of them hopefully in future books. I gave this book 4.5 ⭐️ and 3 🌶️ some great scenes with the mask but also loved the relationship that was built between these two.

I highly recommend this book and if you like audiobooks this is the perfect one for you.
