Very much enjoyed this conclusion to the trilogy.
Olympia's character developed so well throughout the books, particularly with all her interpersonal relationships.
Although the focus is always going to be the vampires and fae, I particularly loved the witches in this one.
Definitely recommend for anyone wanting sapphic urban fantasy.

The bear shifters here were fun - it would have been nice to see a bit more of them together.
The setup was interesting, in that humans don't know about shifters but could be a shifters fated mate.
The main characters had good chemistry. I'd have loved Amy to have had more time to find herself before the intensity of the situation and relationship set in.

This book has a fun twist on second chance, where it's a second chance for brothers to be friends and a team.
Very much enjoyed the role others in the town played in the suspense elements. Can't expect to go into a town with ex FBI profilers and go unnoticed!
MMF romantic suspense.

It had been a long time since I read the first book, so I honestly wasn't sure how I'd find this. But I actually really enjoyed it.
The two main characters are in a highly dysfunctional and toxic relationship at the start. Their journey towards something real involves a lot of character growth on both sides.
Oh, and it's super steamy hot.

I loved both Consort of Fire and Queen of Dreams, so was very excited to read this one.
This follows 3 characters that we've met previously - Aleksi (the Lover), Einar (the Kraken) and Naia (a sea goddess).
Following the world-changing events of Queen of Dreams, the 3 are tasked with visiting the inhabitants of an island to check all is in order. But each has to face different parts of their past, while building their future.
This is the first book in a spin-off series, but I would say should be treated as book 3 from the first series. The main characters are different, but the world story very much carries on.
The chemistry between the main characters was great. At times things felt a little too simple with how their relationship built and slotted into place. The balance they each brought worked well though.
I very much enjoyed the setup of the island, both in its history and its present day setting. A large portion of the book is set in or around the sea, which brought a nice contrast to the previous books.
All in all I very much enjoyed this, and am looking forward to reading book 2 when it releases.
Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for the free digital copy. All thoughts are my own.

I was hooked into this right from the start.
Great setup of the fantasy world - everything explained without info-dumping.
I loved Keera as a main character, with her raw emotions and belief in her skills. This is such a good example of the "assassin main character" trope.
Can't wait to read the next book.

In general I don't go for books where one person is incredibly rich, but as this was the 4th book in a series I like I picked this up. Definitely glad I did!
The suspense elements that come with this being a bodyguard romance are great, and the main characters definitely had chemistry.
Also loved seeing the women from earlier in the series appearing - catching up with their lives.
FF billionaire bodyguard BDSM contemporary romance.

The first book in an urban fantasy series can be a struggle for me to get into, particularly when written years ago. This was no different, and it probably took at least half the book for me to truly feel like I was in the story.
Once I got into it the pages flew by. The world setup interests me, and I definitely want to continue the series.
There are a lot of darker themes in here, so don't pick it up if you're looking for a lighter read.

Great series continuation. It was nice seeing Olympia interact more with other Bounty Hunters.
Really enjoy the different types of magic in this world.
And obviously Leandra was amazing too.

Such a beautiful fantasy.
I loved the journey the main character went on - both her actual travels and her personal growth. She's not perfect and doesn't need to be.
I particularly liked that battles weren't glamorised in any way - that the deaths were seen as a waste.
Having listened to the (beautifully narrated) audio I don't know how to spell the character names, but my favourite side character was the soldier friend - her loyalty and courage were amazing.
Can't wait to continue with the second book.
