A very weird and obsessive narrative. Not a big fan of the main character and how selfish she was, especially when those around her were dealing with the same things she was. Instead of leaning on them for strength, she took advantage of them and ended up being very careless and selfish. Not a favorite. Definitely do not recommend.
A stunningly gorgeous and unique tale of World War I, narrated from the perspective of the Greek Gods.
I would never have imagined a war novel told from the perspective of Aphrodite would have made such an impact on me, but to hear a tale woven from the eyes of Ares, Apollo, Aphrodite, and Hades was a moving and powerful experience.
I am so blown away by this entire novel and I am so thankful to Penguin Random House for sending it to me!
