I had a good time reading this, felt good to read something after being in a reading slump.
Can't wait to read the rest of the series.

This manga is a great introduction to the series. It introduces all it’s important characters and I already love Maomao, she’s funny and lovable even with her being abducted. I can’t wait to see how this is going to be used along the series.
Jinshi is a close second favourite, he’s great.
This is a historical romance and is a slice of life story and I can’t wait to read more.

At the beginning of this book I didn’t really like Nesta, as the story went on I realised that was because I relate a lot to her. 
This is absolutely my favourite book from the series so far and can’t wait until the rest of the books come out so I can see the characters again.
I’d definitely recommend reading this, I couldn’t have asked a better book to finish my reading goal with.

I really loved this novella, the moments between their little found family is really cute.
Elain is starting to grow on me while Nesta is still in the pool of characters I don’t know how to feel about.
Nesta’s alcholism which I feel like is going to be a big part in acosm, is protracted realistically. I recognise her behaviour in my own family members who suffer from an addiction. I’d love to see how this plays out.
What I didn’t like and made me thrown off was the weird pov changes that happened through out different peoples POV’s. Feyre’s and Rhys’s POV’s was in first person as Morrigan, Cassian, Nesta’s etc. Where 3rd person which was an odd choice from the author.

This is one of those books that just makes you want to die in a good way. The tention was great, the banter I loved and the FOUND FAMILY?? Which I totally wasn’t expecting was amazing! Can’t wait for acowar 💛 oh and I cried which makes this a great book. 

I cried so much reading this book. The poems speak to me and made me think about things that I hadn’t dared to think about in years.
