Animal Farm is about a group of animals that one day decide to rebel against their farmer. They kick him out and name the farm, animal farm.
It's a classic that let's you think about how we as humans treat animals, but its also a good reflection on how the rich treat the poor and how we are divided as a people when it comes to politics.
I did like the book, its unique in its perspective to use animals.
However I wouldn't reach for it after reading it. I would recommend to pick up this book as it'd very short.

Scarred by Emily Mcintire
It's a dark romance, and the second book of the #neverafterseries. It follows Tristan, the scarred prince who's starting a rebellion against the cruel king Micheal.
It also follows Sara, who's sent to marry the king but has to kill everyone in the Faasa line. Not knowing that Tristan is part of the rebellion, she falls in love with him.
I thought the book was pretty fun. It was packed with action (😉) and exciting storytelling.
Some of the descriptions were a little cringe at times and made the spicy scenes more funny than I think was intended.
While on the subject, it is a dark romance, so check your trigger warnings.
I also thought that they could’ve made Micheal more of a dislikable character than he actually was.
I'd give this book 3.75 ⭐️ bc I liked this book well enough, but not too much as a serious recommendation.

We follow a young Sheppard who journeys all the way to Egypt to follow his destiny. On his way, he meets a king, English man, his true love, and the alchemist. They all help him realise things about himself. (The rest you need to read yourself)
I really liked this book. It's surprisingly easy to read, and you don't need much to understand what's going on. I tabbed a lot of pages because of the quotes and messages that are good to remember. I would recommend this. It's only 170 pages long, so it's definitely worth the read.

This book is about Aisha and Walter (and their cat Fleabag) they hear that the world is ending, so they leave with Walters parents to find Aisha's long-lost sister in June.
The book and the concept were fine, I liked the idea, but I wish we got to know more. I get that it's a middle grade book, and we don't get as much depth as the biggest plot point is the world ending. You might as well let us know how and why.
I did like the book enough to finish, but I wouldn't come back to this book anytime soon.

This is the 3rd book of the series.
I really like how the story is progressing so far, There's so much happening in this volume.
Licia is kinda weird to me but I'll let it slip for now.

Interesting book and its refreshing to see other countries being discussed when it comes to Europe than just the UK. I learned alot and liked the stories. Would definitely recommend

I really enjoyed this 2nd volume, Ars is 6 now and has gained alot of new soldiers and people to work for them Charlotte has become more powerful and Rietz is just as devoted to being Ars's tutor as before. We also get to meet new characters and get to see how Ars convinces them to join his troops.
It was pretty fun, I giggled put loud some times.
There were parts that were a little repetitive. This is the second time that we have a character that doesn't want to join but later does anyway. I wish they did something different, but maybe we will get that in another volume. Definitely recommend this.

I'd have to start this book twice now.
When I picked it up for the second time, I was actually able to enjoy this. It's kind of boring, but the story becomes more fun as it goes on.
There's not much going on besides the 36 year old woman, Keiko, working at a convenience store who doesn't know how to act in society (which I relate to) ger family and friends are pestering her about getting married.
Like I said, it was fun, but it took some time.
Would recommend, though.
