Didn’t have time with the library

This was a great book. I loved the hints of romance but not romance. I wish I was apart of the captain’s crew. This is an action pact fantasy novel and I truly enjoyed it. 

This was a great book and I can’t wait for the movie to come out. This book holds to today world and black peoples thoughts on white passing and how colorism plagues our communities. 

This story was an interesting and prime example of "be careful who you are dating." This is an extreme case of revenge and stalking, and sticking through for the long game. I enjoyed this novel and I was nervous about what would happen to Anna until the last page 

This is an interesting book and not at all how I thought it was going to end. Just when you think you understand all of the characters and what's drives them, you find out that you are wrong. I found myself mostly upset with Louisa's husband and best friend. Their blind trust in a person from Louisa's past was beyond me. Can't wait to review it on my channel. 

Well, this is the third book that I've read by Octavia E. Butler. I am so excited to be able to read from OEB. This book was very hard to read and had every type of violence that you can think of. I loved how this book was more centered on Doro and another female protagonist because I was exhausted with Anyanwu and Doro's narrative at the end of Wild Seed. I wish I could talk about this book more but I am afraid that if I write more it would be some spoilers.
