Ali, now where the hell are you at!
fast-paced

This one was probably my favorite one of all! The twists were timed well. I did think the title pretty much somes up what the book is about. The consistent older males creeping on young girls plot point needs to end soon. I was disappointed in Hannah’s actions towards her stepsister although I under the layers to it.

I gotta keep my eye on Ella new boyfriend. I felt like I was waiting for another character to come to an end and I was Happppy that it happened.

Also Mike character never gets better! He is super phobic in every way possible. Emily’s classmates constantly outing her is so messed up that I can’t even describe how upset I was by that! It seems like the males in the books were only talking to Emily to see if she would do something with a girl in their face. What the actual….

..."She wants to be perfect..."

I honestly do not know how to review book 4. Unfortunately two of the PPL have been put in physical danger by A. Things in the book reveals a lot of things about A and who A is. This book like the others also continues to hint that Alison D., may still be alive. In this book Hannah struggles to regain her memory. Spencer struggles with her memory and morals. Aria struggles with her parents secrets and the consequences of that. Emily struggles with self acceptance and perception.

Ezra.... noooo (that's all I can say without spoiling it).

The boys/men in book 4 continues to be the weakest link. Mike continues to blame Aria (also a child) as to why their family is experiences hardships. Ian continues to be a predator and has links to A. We are still not sure how Spencer judges with is morally right or not, especially when it comes to her sister's property or things involving her sister. We learned more about Moana and her unlikely alliance. We learned Jenna and layers to accident that cost her her vision.

Also Sean is NOT to be trusted at all. I knew he was a jealous snake in the grass.

These teenagers throws the word "love" around too much in my opinion. The love they think they have is toxic and harmful.

I am enjoying my reading experience due to nostalgia from the TV shows. I will say that in the year of 2022 these books do not hold up well. The constant predatory behaviors of most of the male characters were terrible. While reading I kept thinking "the way these girls are brushing off these boys and men being predatory is too much." I found myself annoyed that not only did these four girls NOT HAVE support... their parents disregarded them and did not seem to care about their wellbeing. I KEPT WANTING TO SCREAM "THESE ARE TEENAGE GIRL, THEY ARE BEING KIDNAPPED EVERYDAY, CARE FOR THEM. Then I realized that I am passionate about this due to all the missing and murdered Black and Indigenous girls in the U.S.

The homophobia throughout the book is disturbing. I think if I didn't watch the show I don't think I would be able to continue the series. I will say that this book was definitely a product of its time. I wonder if Sara's books write like this in 2022.

There were some things that was NOT explicitly acknowledged in this book that didn’t sit well with me. One was the multiple accounts of SA and these young girls being assaulted and preyed upon by predators. One of the biggest heartbreaks was Hannah’s father treatment against her! It seem like he is worst in the book in comparison to the show!

Ahhhhh the nostalgia is what this book series is doing for me. I am so happy to be reading this! A is back on her bullish as unusual! The cliff hangers is something I’m going to live for. Why ain’t nobody tell me that one of the characters have a sibling I didn’t know about?

I am disappointed in Spencer’s parents and how they are treating her although what she did was NOT okay. Also I’m disappointed in Emily’s mom! But not surprised by her mom if I am being honest.

This is a story of a young woman name Geo and something that she did over 14 years ago that haunts her on a daily basis until she gets caught and then the story unfolds about the truth of what happened to her best friend who went missing when they were in high school.

I enjoy reading thriller and mysteries with a romance sub genre but the romance has to be surface level and this book did not disappoint in that regards.

The only reason I did not rate this book 5 stars is because although the intrigue and suspense was told tier… I did not enjoy reading about SA on page at three different occasions throughout the book. I wish authors who write about SA found other ways to elude to it because sometimes it is too much for me to read. Which is weird because I love reading mysteries and thrillers but I don’t understand why the trauma in most thrillers involves the woman being SA.
