This was actually a good middle grade when I thought about it as separate book from book one.

This was a good book. I was surprised how much I like it. I usually don’t like when gaslighting is used at as a plot device but it was done in a non irritating way to me that didn’t make me detach from the story.

I really enjoyed this book. It’s my favorite of Attica so far. Using a plantation and the air of the Jim Crow south was done in an explorative way. Using historical context to discuss the horrors of growing up in the south was done in a way I appreciated.

This is my first Ruth ware and I loved the suspense building. I thought it was a little long but I loved how I didn’t know who did it to the very end. I thought I knew who did and it was a lie. The suspense was the best part of this book. There were so many twists that confused the reader in an engaging way.
This book was going in so many ways that I found myself lost in the MC mind.

The dad jokes continues. I typically enjoys reading Rick Riordan books. His middle grade game is good.

I loved this book so much! The twists comes and knock you off your feet. This is story about how revenge is NOT ALWAYS what you think it is.
