Huh.

This book put me into a spiraling of emotions when it comes to love and the protection of children. 

The masking of manipulation in this book was top tier and the gaslighting which typically bothers me added to the suspense of the characters who were involved in the wrong deeds. 

I like the pacing and the lessons taught in this book. Daja’s growing on me but this series isn’t better than the other series I read by the author.
