Finally a book where the main character has a flaw other than “loving too much” or some bs like that. Was pretty refreshing!

While this book is beautifully written, in comparison to the song of Achilles it fell short of my expectations. Circe’s unceasing “goodness” in this book frustrated me at times, I wanted the fire and anger of the myths to be shining here, and while it subtly appeared, I do not feel as though it came across as presently as it should.
