This book isn't like others I usually read but I did end up enjoying it. It felt a little young for me and for a romance book I didn't really swoon as much as I like to when I read romance books. Overall, good book for teens maybe.
I remember being really excited to read this book. I saw all the hype about it and I know they made a movie about it which I had seen a trailer for. So I decided to read the book. The book was ok. The ending was kind of a let down.
I did not expect this book to be as good as it was. I was hesitant to pick it up because I hadn’t heard much about it. But as soon as I started reading it, I was sucked right in. It gave me “one more chapter syndrome” immediately and I flew through it. The pacing felt really well done. It wasn’t too slow to where I got bored, and it wasn’t too fast to where I got overwhelmed with information right away. Everything came full circle and there was nothing that felt like a loose end left untied. I gave it 4 stars because it just didn’t have that “5 star impact” on me that other books have which I gave 5 stars. But it was definitely a good read and I recommend it if you enjoy mysteries with a touch of fantasy.
I finished this book in one day! It was well-written and engaging and had me hooked until the end.
For this, I listened to the audiobook and the narrator was absolutely amazing! I felt transported into the letters that Constanta had written and I just felt what she felt. The voice acting was very well done.
This book is the story of Dracula told through letters written by his first wife, Constanta. It was a unique perspective on a classic story. The story starts when Constanta is turned by Dracula and tells the story of her life with him until the end. It showed the dark and controlling side of Dracula rather than romanticizing him.
Overall, the book was great. A must-read!

This book was amazing and I will always recommend it to any reader! It showed an honest lens of mental illness viewed through the life of a family member.
Wow…this book was so good! I loved the flow of the writing and how even near the end there were still some *gasp* moments. This book kept me hooked the entire time. I liked the in depth perspective it gives to how people think sometimes. Even though it is fiction, it felt like the story could have been very real.
